The Boxing thread

Let's be real, there's only Usyk and Fury that are quality operators in this division. Usyk had a bit more in the tank in their fights, but the skill level from both was excellent, especially the first fight and Fury is arguably 5 years past his best.

Dubois and the rest are nowhere near their level of ability. There's a few other decent fighters like Kabayel and Parker but they're not elite.

Usyk is fantastic of course, incredible fighter but I said despite Dubois good run, he hasn't improved anywhere near enough to compete with Usyk unless he gets old.

People like to dismiss Fury now but all that does it take away from Usyk's wins, because they are incredible wins.

He's not though, he's the beauty of the ring. He's the David Silva of the heavyweight division.
Very well put, his ability to take a hit while being twice as fast as his opponent and also packing a punch leaves me wondering if the only way he will be beaten is when he is aging and slows down for the bigger guys

Absolute class act, in and out of the ring. Where he rates historically can’t truly be decided until about ten years after his retirement, as with most sports. However, he will certainly be well regarded, alongside Evander Holyfield for stepping up to heavyweight.
