Priced out? | Club announce that matchday tickets being reduced by up to 43% (p93)

It's completely random, I joined the queue 30 mins after you and was 27,000 and summat.

Need to go and do some work so not holding my breath, que sera and all that.
It’s gotta be random I joined at 9 40ish and was circa 9000 in the queue

Crumbled to a membership this year... wish I hadn't bothered. My son just wanted to watch a lowkey match like Leeds and the criteria says "you must have purchased 3 PL tickets", The "top 4"/CAT A matches I understand but come on... there's Sunderland, where it says "only if you have membership before x date"... shouldn't be so many hurdles for low key matches. Demand I can put up with (50k in front of me is fair game) but then you dont' get any criteria for say Spurs. At least prices are set fairly enough but only after ticket protest

This is my 3rd season as a member buying tickets (my 12 year old daughter is a massive City fan but we live in West Wales and she plays on the weekend so can only make 3 or 4 games a season).

Only info I had this season is that tickets released at 10am today, I clicked on buy tickets at 9.55am and turns out theirs a queue, I'm 16k and over an hour from getting tickets and by the looks of it could of joined the queue earlier.

For future ref if anyone knows what time it's poss to join queue can you let me know. Thanks :-)

you've been lucky.

anyone in the queue at 10am gets a random position.

i was in the queue at 45 mins before you and am 20k behind you.

i think thats fair to be honest. get in by 10 get a random spot.

don't think Leeds is a low key match tbh. think it's quite a big one.

I joined at 0920 & am 29000 in q, I assume it is random allocation so time of joining is not relevant, else I am doing it wrong every season as I have never had a 'low' queue number

Based on the risk of away fans in the home end too I think.

What i hate then is the panic on my end to buy tickets to games I may not be able to go to, or the flights are mad lol. Then my wife gives out to me...and my wallet :D

queue looks to be moving at a rate of roughly 20k per hour (based on 10k in half an hour).
It usually speeds up. It started off at about 200 per minute but my last check was over 300pm.

And yes, I should be working ;)

There will be a lot of people (especially from overseas) just buying one game so it can speed up quickly.

no i mean 0910 or ten past nine

but its a random position given at 10am.

if you join after 10am i assume you're put at the back of the queue.
I am not too sure about that. Most years I would sign in at 7 or 8am even, always ended up in a weird mid number position. Today I tried to be more calm about it and joined at about 9:25/9:30 and was in the 30k range. My wife logged in and got 60k

Definitely seems to have been random as I joined later than you (around 9:50) and was 6507 in the queue.

Anyway, all sorted now for Spurs and West Ham, the only games I know I'll definitely be back for this season.
