I think they probably are untouchable, lamentably.
Abolishing the state of Israel simply isn’t feasible or sustainable. It’s just not going to happen. So the solution needs to sit alongside that reality. Hopefully that will emerge. And hopefully Israel will stop being cunts.
Hugely optimistic, I know!

I wouldn't want to abolish the state of Israel there needs to be a 2 state solution - at the moment the biggest blocker of that is the state of Israel. If they need more space to accommodate migrants then see the MAGA / Reform solution

Not just the MAGA solution Reform have a similar solution, we have a Labour Party so scared of being called anti/semetic they are incapable of doing anything other than follow the Trump plan for the Gaza Strip.
If we start seeing footage of lots of starving people it could cause terrorism in Europe / America. (To be frank it's a miracle we already haven't already seen terrorism in response to this , I do not think this is a controversial view)
Terrorism is probably what Netanyahu wants and is trying to incite.
This could then lead to anti-Islam pogroms or anti-Islam riots which of course their very very good mate Tommy has been trying to start for years. Terrorism of course would also persuade some people to ignore anything Israel does.
The utter evil of all this is beyond belief.
I knew 2025 would be a new low. But not this.

People get too emotional about words. Genocide, holocaust, ethnic cleansing. Who cares what cunts on a football forum call it? The lawyers can try to sift through the wreckage when it's all over and take the appropriate action.
The important thing is that, morally, it should have been stopped a long time ago. And the fact that it hasn't should haunt those responsible for allowing it to continue until their dying day.
Elon Levy just been on Radio 4 saying the governments pressing for a ceasefire are encouraging Hamas not to sign a ceasefire. He didn't quite say it but the implication was that they were shooting people to try and force Hamas to agree to a ceasefire.
Does anyone know what the sticking points are? I assume Hamas will not agree to a ceasefire that releases hostages but just allows the way crimes to resume after a ceasefire.

You would think as a people the things the older generation had to go through they would have some compassion .
I think if we look at the evidence, the sticking points from last time may give us some clues. Israel wouldn’t propose a permanent ceasefire one of the last times they were at the table, they continued to murder Palestinians during the previous ceasefire, and Israel refused to move into stage 2 of the ceasefire which would have returned majority of the remaining hostages, dead or alive. Israel also illegally detained thousands of Palestinian ‘prisoners’, and I’d hazard a guess they probably aren’t keen on the release of these, as per stage 2 of the previously agreed ceasefire.
I imagine Israel don’t want this ceasefire, more than anyone else. Netanyahu seems only too content with ramping this up to levels only similar in some of the most abhorrent events of the past. He’s gone from weeding out Hamas HQ and leaders, to manufacturing prison camps for the starving, weak and vulnerable.

Not disagreeing with the general points you make but on the second paragraph I would point out that the people doing this now weren't those who lived through the Holocaust. I mean, Netanyahu is on record as saying that Hitler only wanted to expel the Jews, not exterminate them, and the Nazis only ended up going down the Holocaust route because a Palestinian persuaded them to! I honestly can't get my head around how fucked up that theory is.

Fair play to him. Although I think the sad reality is that if we were still under a Tory government, the situation would be the same with whoever their Foreign Secretary might be. That's not to absolve Lammy and Labour by the way - more to point out that we're so in bed with Israel regardless of who is running our country. The only exception I could possibly think of is someone like Corbyn, and I say that as someone who is far from a Corbyn fan boy.

This is disgusting behaviour from Israel. They have lost all humanity. Britain and the others who signed that statement must act now. I don’t have enough knowledge to say exactly what they should do, but the time for talking and finger wagging is over. Some time ago I suggested a Berlin airlift type operation but was told on here that it couldn’t be done. Maybe, I don’t know.

Only thing they can do is go into the Palestinian waters millitarly with Aid. Or the air space dropping hundreds of tonnes of food, water, medication etc etc. Then boots on the ground to keep the IDF from the continued massacres. Let's see what the Israeli's would do
