I think that the 2 signings will make them better, I also think that the manager is not as clueless as some think. I hope I am wrong on both of those but I would not be surprised if they did a lot better next season. God knows they have spent enough recently, not all the players are bad players (over priced but not bad) so if the manager has finally got rid of the toxic players (Rashford, Anthony etc..) then they might actually have a pretty good team.
I now await the obligatory Rag comments and vicious counter posts....

Stone in his article on bbc about Mbeumo mentions that spurs Newcastle then arsenal and Chelsea were showing interest in him, hahaha any old lie to make them even more relevant..

Hype and lies are such a fundamental part of the rag PR.

Although clearly pathetic and specifically aimed at the feeble-minded who are their main target anyway, their PR although sickeningly false is their most successful part of their operations.

This has been the case for many years, although since 1958 has been seriously ramped up to the ridiculous levels they currently experience, despite being a shambles of a club.

After years of total arrogance from all connected with the club, they are now reduced to pathetic promotion and lies to keep the seriously needy onboard, aided by a number of media whores, the BBC especially being guilty.

Sky come out with their best comment yet. Barcelona potentially getting a world class forward.

I think the manager is half decent, the fact of the matter is these players have thrown manager after manager under the bus, I think Cunha and Mbeumo whilst decent players in average teams will probably sink without trace at a club who are in a shit state of affairs on and off the pitch.
The trouble for them is that the club, the fans and the arse kissing media still think this is the club pre taggart and that they are this juggernaut and big player in the world of football.

The quicker someone tells them they are not and their PR people stop telling these new signings they are lifelong fans then it'll be better for rest of us.

Anyone that thinks signing **** ha and Hmmbeuno is going to help them challenge for europe next season are deluded
Both decent players and good tactics to weaken team's in and around you but while spending shed loads on these two it increases debt and reduces chances of buying superstars to get them where mardarses think they should be

I won't call you a rag and there'll be no vicious retort from me.

However, I will counter your comments about how these two signings and Amorin will improve the rags current situation.

On what basis and why will this season be any different from the last fifteen?

Since the pisscan slunk away from managing the club the rags have burnt through literally billions of pounds worth of players and noteworthy managers.

The broadcasting media and written press in this country have been peddling the idea that every player they sign is the missing piece. Only to be disappointed once again when the cycle continues.

You can hear and see the desperation in the voice of the presenter or words in the columns almost pleading with the rags to "get it right"

I've asked this question for a decade now: "at what point do we call time on that football club?"

It's becoming an urban myth that the rags will return to their "rightful" place. There are at least fourteen other clubs in the Premier League that are far better run than the filth.

The other issue the rags have got is those other fourteen clubs aren't expected to finish in the top four. The rags however, are and the dichotomy between their players and the chances of them reaching the top four is colossal.

Almoron is being backed in the market here, same as Tent Peg was. Shopping in Aldi while others are at Waitrose sure but he's got his way with the 5 want outs (no pressure from above to reconcile) and his all important pre season with them. Excuses are gone.

A real chance that if (please) we demolish them on 13/9 at the Etihad it could be all over for him come the trip to the Dippers in October.

It depends what you call improvement as the two signings, who they've massively overspent on are unlikely to make them a top 4 team & even with pgmol bending over backwards for them, I'll be shocked if they finish higher than 8th

There is nothing to suggest their team can compete in the PL. They really are on a downward spiral.
