Pep Guardiola is by a million miles the best manager I have ever seen at City, winning the most trophies and playing the best football in the process. The only downside? Who have we at left back if alt nouri grts injured?
Who have we at right back at all?

If dias gets injured or Gvardiol who do we have? Gomez is more proven than khusonov and certainly Reis.

  • Wirtz is a fine player but Cherki is statistically the most creative player in Europe and it only took a few appearances at the CWC to see why.
  • Agree that they have better centre halves and they actually have 2 right backs whereas we only have makeshifts so they're up there.
  • I would argue Serie A midfielder of the year Reijnders is at least as good as MacAllister but I guess we'll find out.
  • Gakpo isn't as good as Marmoush. Bar Salah, and now maybe Wirtz, they don't have anyone as good as Foden or Marmoush.
But what's more important to remember is that, even when they and the general media for many years have claimed they had the best goalscorer, defender, goalkeeper, fullbacks and so on, we still won 5 out of the last 8 league titles to their two.

I think we'll compete, and a full rebuild takes longer than 2 windows.

Salah is way better than Marmoush for starters. Gakpo is a starter for most prem teams as well

We w9n cause at that point our team was underrated by media who pander to the masses. However now they do have the better squad

Agree it will take more than two windows...it's why I'm saying we wont compete for tge title this year but lore likely top 5

I think we are quite evenly matched and I think it will be a close title race next year

The only caveat I have is we need to ship a lot out before the season starts , hopefully it’s the older players leaving not the younger players we’ve just signed

They have replaced their fullbacks....we only have one full back total!

Currently, we have Ake, or Gvardiol, or O'Reilly.
Currently, if Dias gets injured we have Akanji, Stones, Khusanov, Reis
At RB we have Lewis and Nunes.
And you know all of this.

And you know that it could all change.

Fucking dismal depressive shit. 21k posts, 8k likes says it all. I’m doing what I should have done years ago and putting you on ignore. Did you get any joy out of winning a treble or winning 4 titles in a row? I have never come across a more miserable person in my life
