I don't get this 4k thing why can't you just renew every season and save 4k doesn't make sense I assume if you pay 4k and miss a season you lose your seat so what's the point.

The Greatest Team in the World TM also has the largest and most needy " supporters " hence the media whores and their constant puff pieces . This propaganda is essential to keeping the rags relevant, even though lacking the success on the football front.

And the media know all of the rag problems, but they aren't about to give up on the gravy train.

Hence the media will trot out any old news
With false links to players to ex rags predicting how the new signings will transform them etc. people like goldfish cottoned onto this years ago and made millions out of it so imagine what big media outlets are making. The rags are the biggest cashcow the media can hope for and it will never end.
All it will take is a couple of convincing wins
And rag fans will be clicking in their millions
It’s like printing money, meanwhile the actual team itself has drifted to mid table mediocrity which is a media outlets dream as far as income is concerned as there’s always something to write good and bad.
No other team in their position would get anywhere near the collumns written or videos on YouTube etc.

Hang on you can’t just take 4K from fans and not call it an income surely there’s tax to take off that, the corrupt bastards trying to get the fans to pay for the stadium and then wanting season ticket money on top
The rags could be looking at 6k and I’m guessing they’ll try rush this through starting 26/27 to get 4/5 years worth out of it before the stadiums finished. Your average fan will not have this type of spare money knocking about. Scruffy really is worse than the glazers rincing the fans sacking hundreds of working class people and if that’s not bad enough serving up the absolute shite on the field. This is actually a talent if he pulls this off.

Ferguson was an outlier, not just for United, but for football in general; an unusually long time at one club (27 years) and an unusual period of dominance within much of that 27 years. I always felt that as long as he was coach, they would always be a force. Once he was one, short of a world class manager to replace him, they would regress. And so it proved.

A lot of us FOCs have already said as much as it would be fun watching them drop
It would be embarrassingly unbearable watching the media snapping one off and putting a championship side as the main headline everyday as they probably piss the league (maybe not) and be the only team from there on match of the day etc.
If you think it’s bad with the media hype now imagine the above. No what we want is for them to stay in the bottom 8 forever and laugh at their permanent demise.

Sorry for not keeping up but is this @Crooked_rain prick still denying he's a rag and claiming to be a Blue?

I actually don't mind the few genuine rags who occasionally come on here and don't hide their allegiances but this prick needs banning just for thinking he's clever enough to pull the wool over anyone's eyes.
 
Ever since the birth of the PL we've had to suffer this mutually convenient Rags-Scousers BIGGEST GAME IN THE HISTORY OF ENGLISH FOOTBALL which we all know is utter nonsense, but has nevertheless been repeated on such a criminal scale that if you point to the 73-74 season and ask why 16 First Division Clubs enjoyed their highest attendance against Leeds United, their fans just respond with pure bile.

However, it strikes me that the way this summer is shaping, United now need Liverpool far more than Liverpool need United.

The rags can bore everyone with their "Biggest Club in the World", but frankly it stinks of desperation and paranoia.

For years their history and success was based around serendipitous moments when they just happened to be in the right place at the right time. However, even that huge advantage had an expiry date

Liverpool are far more focused on winning the PL and CL and see City, Arsenal, and possibly Chelsea as far bigger threats.
