They are weird. However, team who is truly "shit" isn't breaking into the top 30, top 50 or whatever.

Is this team great? Of course not. Average to average+? Probably.

Another problem with the rankings is that there aren't enough meaningful inter-continental confederation games played, meaning that comparison between teams in different confederations is going to be inaccurate, sometimes wildly inaccurate.
