No barcodes from now on according to the club. A bit gutting as I find it much quicker and less of a faff than NFC.

Also not ideal for some fans using phones without that capability. A small number maybe, but still going to make some jump through hoops for something that simply wasn't an issue before.
 
Good job ,its been pointed out..always used the barcode on my pass on the season ticket to reduce fanfare.NFC wasn't switched on on mine.Sorted it now ,now I know no barcode this year.Think I'm turning into a F.O.C.!!..:)

I’ve done it, really straightforward and took about a minute.

And next season you can bet your bottom dollar that we'll have to upload photo ID too.
 
Downloaded mine and my sons to my wallet and then asked my eldest son to also load mine and his to his wallet as you can have a max 2 downloaded on separate devices. He could download his but not mine.
Said we have done the maximum number but we haven't.

I took my lads out of my wallet and my youngest son tried to put in his wallet but it wouldn't let him download so I tried to put it back in my wallet but it wouldnt as a maximum of 2 devices...strange as it was in my wallet ok 5 mins before.

Well I have one in my wallet and one in my eldest sons wallet so thank God for that, must be a glitch in the system.

Yes was an email from City, I was row D now Row 4.

Season Ticket Members will continue to enter the Etihad Stadium via the same turnstile, travel to the same level and then find their way to the same seat.

The only change will be that the numbers outside the levels, blocks and rows will be visually different.

This change is the consequence of the Etihad Stadium’s expansion and the introduction of a new single upper tier, as well as new hotel and commercial space, and the need to ensure consistency across all levels of the stadium for all fans.

Therefore, from next season onwards, the Etihad Stadium’s levels will be as follows:

Level 1 will become Level 0
Level 2 will become Level 1
Hospitality Box-Level will become Level 2
Level 3 will remain the same

No news about getting new Season Cards sent out, or using last years with incorrect details.

Just sent everyone the telephone version.
 
I got home from work at 1.30pm today.
got the email about " downloading " the new seasoncard to my mobile,even though,when i renewed as usual they said i would receive another new phyisical seasoncard like had last year.
if all this shit starts again like the start of last season,I'm out ,i refuse all this digital android google pay bollocks.

i contacted man city fan support on twitter, they said i must email , access@mancity.com etc .
they said before renewals people with plastic cards would get new ones sent out because of the row changes.

looks like that was all bollocks now

Ta - I will wait and see got the same stuff as everyone else when PAH, and they renewed that, until they scrapped it. Chase up in 2 weeks if nowt.
