PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Most of them are spending because Newcastle and Villa have shown them that they are well capable of catching up. So therefore the cartel has enforced their huge advantage in the PSR-influenced market aiming to break those type of challengers and increase the gap. Also United have done this for years already because they are a pathetic excuse of a football club and just finished 15th.

It's such a fair system isn't it

the tyranny of majority voted in favour

I'm convinced that some clubs, and even more so, the VAST majority of supporters have no idea how all this works, we as a supporter base could educate them all, but only as we are having to endure this complete load of bollocks, and thus have educated ourselves, of course with thanks too many of our very knowledgeable posters / members

It’s based off of an article in the Independent, who are usually more-so off the ball than on it.
The October angle looks like a bit of gossip given to Delooney by one of his football club director sources. My betting is someone high up at LFC picked it up hobknobbing with Richard Masters in the USA. If not LFC then it is likely Arsenal. Either way it confirms what we all know has been happening. Our commercial rivals continue to leak titbits of information from what is supposed to be a confidential process.

someone somewhere maybe this so called comedian has touch a raw nerve
if any paddy power has digs bothways but id guess they got better leagal team than a two bob comic
The PL are totally out of order.

What did you think of the "Pep in the Dock " sketch itself?

Delooney is a bullshitter. His 'confidential sources' told him CAS had found us guilty.

Surely writing an article and stating "someone high up at a PL club" or similar, is so unproveable and therefore easily invented?

He knows what he wants to write, throwing random quotes in from "anonymous sources" just gives it an air of authenticity whether it's true or not. I reckon it's nonsense.

Likely Parry.

The truth doesn’t matter, fill the air waves with guilt has been their goal all along. When was the last time a journalist was held accountable for being wrong. Imagine a job you could be rewarded for being wrong, absolutely no pride or credibility in the journalism industry.

The way I see it the overwhelming likelihood given how protracted and expensive this process has been is that we are going to get found guilty of something although I would expect not of the more severe charges.
The PL are under massive pressure to make something stick and there will be some sort of settlement. Their own survival depends on it.
At the end of the day common sense will hopefully prevail.

so even with no evidence which new rules imply they'll find us guilty
good luck with that

i havent seen or remember it
Its not great. I didn't get offended by it, mind you.
If we were the only club approached, then the PL have been totally out of order, not the comedian.
I had thought several clubs would be involved in some sort of a Premier League PR or advertisement but haven't seen any other teams mentioned.
Curiouser and courisouer.
