There is no fruit of the poisoned tree theory in English law. A court could well accept stolen material as admissable. But, emails are evidence only of a conversation. Even if emails suggest that the participants think they could get away with something, the prosecution would have to prove that the act contemplated was actually carried out. Even if the guys tried it on, it is likely the accounts dept would not accept it.
