Spurs Thread | 2025/26

I’m concerned.
Got the trophy they desperately needed.
Franks a solid manager.
Seem to be splashing the cash.

They have a dog of the match award. You could not make it up.
Never mind sponsoring doggy things while on tour in Asia

From the Spurs website

Frontier Pets will feature on our players’ shirts during our tour fixtures against Arsenal and Newcastle in Hong Kong and Korea, respectively. During our time in Asia, the Club will be working with Frontier Pets on bringing engaging content to fans in the region.

Tottenham Hotspur is the Club for animal-lovers and we use our platform to raise awareness of animal welfare and the importance of preserving nature. In 2024, we created the first Official Supporters’ Club for dog-owners, Tottenham Hotspaw, inspired by the Club’s many dog-loving staff, fans and players across both its men’s and women’s teams.

Great player, not sorry to see him go though always seemed to score against us or at least cause a few heart stopping moments

Seems like a really nice bloke but as others have commented, delighted to see the back of him City-wise (which is undoubtedly a ball-park Partridge-esque word)

Instrumental in the Uefa stitch up replay game in one of Laportes rare bad games Potentially stopped us going the quad that year should we have gone on to beat Ajax and God forbid the Dippers.
Likeable player.

At least he won't be scoring against us anymore.

Been a great player, shame time catches up with everyone in the end.

Wonder if the rags will be sniffing around him.

Fits the bill perfectly.

Fucking superb little player. Tricky, creative, great with both feet, cracking finisher.

One of the best football brains I’ve seen.

Proper nice geezer as well.

That good, despite his age, I’d have him at City for the season. 15 minutes when we need a lock unpicking.

Honestly his legs have completely gone. I was at reading v spurs game and I couldn’t believe how slow and sluggish he was. My brother is a spurs fan and he was crap last season apparently. Right time for him and spurs.

Credit to him for sticking with spurs and leaving on a huge high
