Talking of nonsensical…..
In another bout of a lack of self awareness, The Bucketeers are nominated in the “Most loved community group” award.

You can nominate yourself and pay the entry fee! Interesting to see if they take a table at the event, that costs £1,875 plus VAT. You would have thought that a) they would have been too busy to put together an event entry and b) the money would have been better off spent paying their debts. Can anyone name one past winner of these awards?

These champagne socialists won’t fail to miss out on the big freebie night out funded by the suckers, er I mean co-owners

Another night, another friendly defeat. The bucketeers eleven were away against an Ashton athletic eleven (their club also played back to back on Monday & Tuesday) Ashton won 5 nil. The fans are starting to get a bit restless
Bloody hell Ashton Athletic play in the same league as Maine Road! I think that’s 3 below the Pallet Parkers!

I went to an FC United game (apologies in advance, it was with a united supporting friend) a few years ago. That was before they got all political.

I am amazed and disgusted in equal measure that these frauds and shysters are still in existence.

A number of people should be in prison as a result of the financial scams they have carried out, with Manchester ratepayers bearing the burden.

I must admit, at least FC United fans walked the talk; they hated the Glazers so refused to spend money at Man Utd until they were gone. This is in sharp contrast to the Norwegian tourists who sat at Old Trafford every week in green and yellow "MUFC Not for Sale" scarves.

So that just makes them slightly less stupid than the normal brand of lemmings that infest the football world ........

Plenty of them wore the scarves on top of official merch like brand new shirts. Understanding isn't their strong point, a bit like of the guy with NY baseball cap and a sign saying Mancs not Yanks.

Happy 1st August!
Have they got this months payment ready for the council?
Won’t find out from the usual sources how they’re getting on I’m afraid. They’ve decided that as they’re doing so magnificently well they can cut back from 12 board meetings a year to 10 (cancelling end of July’s to focus on the end of their financial year documents and missing Decembers for Christmas) so the fans/owners are kept in the dark for the month with no reports or accounts shared until the board meeting on the 26th of August.

One piece of good news for the council is that season tickets have been selling relatively well and thanks to their clever wheeze of asking for a donation on top of the ticket price so far they’ve avoided paying VAT on £20,768 worth of season ticket “sales”

It’s only good news for the council if the tax dodgers actually pay the council.
They’ve been flogging the season tickets since April, may even have been March, so all those that paid in March, April, May and June, that money is most likely long gone.

formed a breakaway club because they didn't like the owners, only for their self-selected board to spend their money on themselves. The talk about not wearing a mask when robbing them blind, Dick Turpin
