State of that!!!

Photoshot surely

I think we need to keep an eye on this referee (Thomas Bramall). I’ve only watched two halves of football in this tournament and he has given two of the softest penalties I’ve ever seen to the scum.
Ask Villa about him , cost them CL football after a dreadful one sided display at Waterworld in the last game of the season, disallowing a Villa goal for god knows what

From Sam Luckhurst...

"There is another pot to add to the Bangkok Century Cup, Snapdragon Cup and Defining Education Challenge Cup for Manchester United: the Premier League Summer Series trophy."

Doesn't get much better than this eh?
The sad bastards.

They really are fucked.

If I'm on the rag board and I read that pathetic attempt at a powder-puff piece; I'm clearing my desk and shaking my head as I'm leaving the building.

This is the crux of the debate around the rags being too big to be relegated.

People assume that the size of the club is synonymous with success. When pundits and commentators (there are no journalists anymore) use that tired worn-out rhetoric that Manchesniteh are too big a club to be relegated.

They are confusing the commercial revenues they bring in with success on the pitch. The two are exclusive.

The rags are experiencing an existential crisis which goes far beyond football. They are heading towards a lack of identity which is creating a void on and off the pitch and many of their fans (the ones who know the difference between football and hockey) are becoming disenfranchised.

This won't make that much of a difference initially, regarding their income streams. However, once the name of their club becomes more synonymous with the New York Stock Exchange than it does football, then even those fans (associates) who have never seen a football pitch will eventually lose interest.
They said that Manchester City was too big to go down in 1996, but we did.
