Season Tickets - 2025/26 | Changes to ticket transfer this season (p101)

Nope to both of those.
Strange. When I go on the official website, sign in (top right hand corner), it takes me straight to a page that shows my number, membership and points from left to right.

If you’re still struggling, add her to your F&F by surname and post code. Then check your F&F list and it should show her name and number.
 
Surely this is a mistake by City or badly worded communication
The communication is very poor. It should have had a more explanatory title such as "Important changes to ticket transfer - please read" rather than the anodyne title about managing tickets in August & September.

Then it should have been explicit about the changes in a much clearer way. So the first point should have been clear on not being able to transfer tickets to other season ticket holders, rather than hiding that behind a link to the website.

It should have been specific about the difference between paid and free memberships, highlighting the various paid memberships. Then it should have given people the link to get a supporter number. And it should have explained why they're doing this. So something like:

Important information about ticket transfer for the 2025/26 season. Please read.

"Please be aware of the changes we've made to the ticket transfer process.

1. You will no longer be able to transfer your season ticket to another season ticket holder, even if they're on your Friends and Family list.

2. You will be able to transfer your season ticket to someone who holds a Cityzens Membership as long as they're on your Friends and Family list.

3. You will be able to transfer your ticket to up to 3 people who don't have a paid membership as per (2) above. To be able to do this:
  • They must have a Supporter Number. To get one follow this link and register.
  • They must be on your Friends & Family list
  • They must have been added to a new Non-Member group you set up. Instructions to do this can be found here (link)"
That's what the email should have looked like, instead of the shite they sent out. It's not that hard FFS.

Update: It's only Cityzens membership you can transfer to, not Matchday.

What are the Club trying to achieve?
It's because the club knows that if you pass your ticket on to another season ticket holder, they already have a ticket and will be bringing someone else along, most likely someone who does not have a paid membership. They want you to either pass the ticket on to someone who has paid for a membership, or list it on the exchange so they may sell it at match-day prices to someone who has also paid for a membership. As usual, following the money will lead you to the answer.
 
My sons on flexi ( my fault! ).
Monies taken for spurs £ 37.76, and the £12 you have to pay for being on flexi.

The new changes should have been communicated ahead of the cup scheme deadlines. I invariably miss two or three midweek home games per season due to work commitments and transfer my ticket to other season ticket holders for them to bring a 'guest' with them.
Now I can't do that and in the case of League Cup and Champions League games, I can't list the tickets on the exchange either so will be out of pocket with the added bonus that certain CL tickets aren't cheap. I'd have thought twice about staying on the schemes had I known this was how it was going to be.
 
How do we add these "non-paying members"? I saw a previous post about logging in, going onto your account, then season ticket, then 'manage' but I don't seem to have a 'manage' option.

I was under the impression you can transfer to any paid 'active member' (those who have paid the £35 membership) or is that different for cup games?

Just when you think the club have got it right on pricing they introduce an alternative empty seat guarantee mechanism.

Lets see if they backtrack if we have another crap season with another 8000 seats to fill.

I have had my season ticket for 45 years now and because of my 2 lads (one season ticket between the two) have continued to renew both our tickets.

However, with my 2 lads not attending as many games as in the past due to work and partners I don't think it will be long before I fcuk my season tickets off and just get tickets for the odd away and euro away game. There's always a way.

I love City but it sickens me that after the great leap forward in ticket pricing we then get this shitshow, what a bunch of wankers.

You're correct - you can transfer to any 'paid' member. But that doesn't help me as I've always transferred my ticket to another season ticket holder (one of those that sits close to me) when I can't make it to a game. None of the people they take along to use the ticket has a membership.
