Jack Grealish | Set to join Everton on season-long loan

It will be shrewd to give Grealish away for free rather than pay him 30m for the next two seasons, or heavily subsidise his wages to a club he's on loan to.

Grealish knows this and has us over a barrel. He's took the piss since being here with half hearted performances. Shame he's been more interested in being a 'Jack the lad' piss head than a professional footballer.

Only Grealish apologists will argue he's better than those two. He's certainly not better or effective as Doku on left wing, that's for sure. Doku assists and scores, Grealish doesn't, and is not a game changer. And that's the main reason why we want rid.

So how are you explaining us wanting shut of him seemingly at a substantial loss over the other two? How are you explaining the fact theres apparently been very little interest in him with Everton appearing to be his best bet?

If he was better than Doku or Savinho, he wouldn't be leaving and there would be a queue of suitors wanting to pay good money for somebody of that calibre. None of those things are happening so when all evidence points in the opposite direction, its probably time to accept that he isn't even close to as good as you are suggesting.

Perhaps as a footballer. But as a producer of goals and assists he is no where close to either.

Not to mention Doku already had competition in Marnoush and Savio has competition in Cherki and Bobb. (Assuming, Phil plays on the AM role).

Its hard to find a spot for him. Perhaps he'd jit form and bench Doku and Marmoush. But i doubt it. He is either gonna play left or in the middle. Both areas have heavy competition

Meh! I don't buy this part. Other players simply performed better than he did. Shit happens. Has nothing to do with him not working or wanting to.

Quite simply his wages. If we tried to ship Savinho, it wouldn't be to any PL team, doubt there would be any takers....and his wages would be affordable. Doku maybe, there would be a couple who would take the chance that he could play more than 'cameos' from the bench.....but time will probably show he can't.
......and I'm not a great fan of Grealish, just think he's the 'best' of 3 who offer very little.
 
He is a 29 year old forward player who doesn't produce goals & assists and has barely played any football for 18 months due to fitness and attitude concerns. No club outside of Saudi Arabia will be paying us a transfer fee and covering his 300k wages.

The irony is the shite that started most weeks wasn't performing better than him last year. We remained loyal to underperforming and out of form players.
