He said we shouldn't be spending £150m on Isak. That he'd be an amazing signing but that to him it doesn't feel like the plan was to sign both strikers. That we should be looking to sign a CB.

That is not him endorsing the bid but that was part of a discussion they had on the fan debate thing.
If you have a chance to sign isak and he wants it you name your price, no questions.
You see as a city fan seeing ex utd and Liverpool players employed by sky sports it's not easy viewing.
Between the pair of them they hate city with a passion, both think we're guilty, both can't stand us winning things when they obviously think it's their god given right to win everything.
I'd like the pair of them if they wasn't so bitter towards city and use sky sports as a vehicle to get their cheap shots and libelous remarks in.
I for one hope when we get cleared these two are top of the list for getting the shit sued out of them.

And 3..2...1..and you're back in the room.

I was a big fan of Carragher the player. I, like a lot of other supporters, think as a media person, he talk absolute bollocks. It is a lot of either scripted crap or ill thought out emotional nonsense.

His analysis of an actual football match is very good and he should have stuck to doing just that.

It is totally understandable that you wouldn't like either of them.

You have an account on RAWK? You get annoyed by what is posted there and come to post it here?

You could well be reading the opinions of immature young adults/ teenagers. You could also be falling into the trap of believing the nonsense which is intended for supporters of other clubs to get annoyed about.
The way social media/society works these days, I would not be shocked to find that people from that forum, will come see what you posted and go giggle amongst themselves.

People do the similar things on this forum and others.(post things for lurking/hidden/upfront fans of other clubs to get upset about).

It is immature childish behaviour. If one ignores it then it won't get the desired reaction.
TBF - I have seen posters refer to you as a reasonable poster

Frankly, I couldn't care less - no offence, I do not intend to exchange posts with you. I am though somewhat bewildered that the Bluemoon thread about that club and its fans, that exhibit such entitled behaviour and which we CITY fans have had so much experience of them acting like proper cunts, seems to being dominated by one of those fans. It shows that CITY fans are far more tolerant than redscouse fans. I can assure you that there would be no tolerance of a CITY fan on rawk.

And. No, my views of Liverpool fans are not limited to my reading of posts on rawk. They are drawn from decades of first hand experience of the behaviour of many despicable redscouse fans

Reply if you want - but I will likely not respond

I'll reply not just for you but for all.

I did type out a big long post but decided it might start the usual stuff off - which then gets all the posts removed.

In short I'll say everything gets a problem with its own success. One day you might look at a lot of people in your own fanbase and think or say "oh fuck off!" because they don't represent you or the city fanbase that you love.

Many many others including myself feel that way about our fanbase.

The fucking irony.

The fucking irony.
The irony of what?

You don't think that in a few years time, the young kids around 5-11 years of age now that wear city shirts, a lot of them, the glory hunters too, won't become just like a large part of the united and liverpool fanbases?

Do you think that City will be immune to that? It won't get any bellends?

The irony of a Littlewoods, who lives nowhere near Liverpool, complaining about glory hunters.

I never mentioned Glory hunters in the post you said about Irony.

You don't know were I was born or were I grew up.

What do you think about the posters on here that reside overseas but are fans of city and never been to the Uk? let alone Manchester?

Ireland or Norway?

Do you or do you not own a ceramic Chicken?

I agree you didn’t mention glory hunters, but that was the inference.

I have never called City fans, wherever they live.

For the record, I’m originally from Cornwall, but I’ve been a Season Ticket holder for all but two years, since the 1999/2000 season.

So after the play off final did you become a glory hunter? haha

I am certified sight impaired and even on a 55" tv I have to sit about 1 foot possibly 2 feet at most from the screen to watch anything. I've been to games but now it would just be daft as everything would just be a blur. I said to one of your fellow city fans the other day, I've had more offers of tickets since I became disabled, than ever before!
I spent a lot of my younger years in Southport. I've been a Liverpool fan since the 80s but I don't claim to have seen them win the league in that time. I was busy being a child. I wanted to play football not watch it. I do vaguely recall the 4-4 with Everton but not sure why or where I was!

I don't think we are entitled to anything. I expect that the players give everything they have. As a supporter, it is likely that one doesn't have as much ability as those on the pitch, one would give maximum effort though. If the players do that and the other team wins simply because they are better then one just has to accept that.

Those who think we should always win everything and go onto players social media accounts and abuse them - make me sick. They appear when a team wins something, but spout off about winning this and winning that, before a ball is kicked the next season. They can't handle that they get ridiculed for that and blame everyone and everything else and make the sane people in the same fanbase look absolute clowns because they are what everyone sees.

Edit: I was actually referring more to the bellends than glory hunters.

They're playing a very dangerous game by selling Nunez first. No Jota, Sold Diaz, Chiesa is a non-entity and now selling Nunez having only brought in Ekitike to go with salah and gakpo 2 weeks before the season starts.

Now everybody knows the dippers need at least 2 attackers, anybody they come sniffing around should see their price sky rocket, they can cite the Nunez and Diaz fees for starting prices. If Newcastle stand firm, there could be some expensive panic buying from the dippers.

Quite a balanced post. Definitely some truth in what you say but don't expect me to be so hospitable if I think you talk crap. Bear in mind, City were very successful in the past (I'm old enough to remember) and am well clued up as regards football history. I'm also well aware of Liverpool's history and a lot of it isn't very pleasant.

They seem to be. They've sadly lost Jota, and Diaz and apparently Nunez is on his way too. Salah is now 33 and it at the ACON. SSN keep telling us that Liverpool are a well managed club but they look very stretched upfront. I don't see how Newcastle can sell Isak to Liverpool without signing Sesko. That puts Liverpool in a difficult situation. As Champions they will be able to buy another forward but they probably won't be the quality that they are seeking.

If Liverpool get Isak then it will be brilliant for them but that seems unlikely at the moment. I hope they don't get him because if they do they will just need to replace VVD and then they will be set up for years to come.

Before City were successful, I used to like Liverpool as the enemy of my enemy but I have grown to dislike Liverpool's fanbase because of the incessant online vitriol from Liverpool fans towards MCFC. I appreciate from your own comments that this is not universal.

There was a small window of opportunity where I didn't mind them it was when Keegan and Toshack played there, really admired Bob Paisley what a bloke he was.

It all went sour when I barely escaped with my life as klanfield, it was then I realised what utter cunts the fanbase was.
