Late 2007. That's my recollection anyway. Not exactly Mussolini/Le Pen/Robinson extreme right wing, certainly. But I don't recall it being as left leaning as it obviously is now. That's my recollection of it anyway.

I don't believe this forum is any more left leaning than it's ever been. I certainly don't identify as left-wing - my politics are very slightly to the left of centre so I have a range of views and I don't see myself as shifting any further to the left than I was 10 or 15 years ago. What I think has happened is that there appears to have been a shift to the right amongst most of the main parties - Labour and the Tories specifically but now there's a major new player in Reform as well, and I'm not inclined to shift with any of them. That might lead some to think I'm a "lefty" when I'm not. Similar to the MAGA lot over the pond who claim the Democrats are a socialist party when they're more like a moderate Conservative party over here.

Since when did you take everything you read on face value? Unless you've been a long time TR follower (which I seriously doubt) you've just picked that list up from some source and accepted it without question, because it suits you to do so.

I put it to you very strongly, if TR was some high profile Labour figure you'd have been all over this trying to understand mitigating factors, or whether it's all true. But since he's branded as a right wing racist thug, you're mind is closed and you're unprepared to even consider that there must be mitigations, misconceptions or even untruths.

How has he been a victim of miscarriage of justice? It's beautifully ironic that you're accusing someone of dogma and confrontation, when you're on here defending Tommy Robinson of all people. And a bit of a dodgy character? That would befit someone who intentionally avoids paying their road tax for a few months; this guy has been convicted of assault on several occasions, racial aggravation, stalking and harassment, fraud. He's a veritable scumbag, and contributes nothing to a society that have been hoodwinked into enriching him (well, his idiot supporters anyhow).
