If Chelsea gets Donnarumma, we have a 3 way battle on our hands. This season is shaping up to be epic.

Pep gonna have ro dig in. For the first time in a while, i think pound for pound Liverpool and Arsenal will ve as talented as we are. Maresca and Baldy are no chumps as Managers either.

Lets pray for a low injury season and everyone being locked in

Unambitious and poor transfer windows have caused that. We were so far ahead but seemed to be complacent, let those red arseholes catch up. Not good.

It feels as though the club has become increasingly preoccupied with public perception, placing far too much weight on the opinions of others. In the past, when we pursued players like Harry Kane and Jack Grealish in one summer window, Sky Sports News wheeled out their familiar mouthpieces to proclaim that we were “ruining football,” a narrative eagerly echoed across outlets from Miguel Delaney to John Cross. Faced with such relentless criticism, the club seems to have retreated, adopting a more reserved and cautious stance. In striving to protect our image, we risk losing the boldness and ambition that once defined us. Doesn't help our cause with the 115 charges looming over us.

Opting for Rayan Cherki at £29 million over Florian Wirtz at £116 million allows the club to project restraint, preserving its public image.

Do we see Sky Sports News pushing the narrative that an impending transfer of Alexander Isak to an already formidable Liverpool squad would “ruin football” and destroy competition before a ball has even been kicked next weekend? Of course not. Instead, they herald it as a masterstroke, applauding it as a victory for the game rather than a danger to its balance.

There has been no sympathy extended toward Newcastle as a club, its supporters, or its manager over the manner in which Alexander Isak has conducted himself. The story is painted as one man of ambition - a player “moving to a bigger club to challenge for more trophies.” It is the polar opposite of the treatment during the Harry Kane saga when as soon as he expressed his desire to join Manchester City, the prevailing narrative was one of City attempting to bully Tottenham and unlawfully court the player.

Cunts.

We didn't opt for Cherki. Wirtz chose someone else.

Offer him and his hangers on enough cash and he’d choose us. As would have Rice. It’s always, all about money. Like almost everything in life.

We’re falling behind from a position of greatness because of a reticence to spend, which seems to stem from a fear of how the cunts in the redshirt supporting media portray us.

By not saying a big fuck off to the redshirts’ pet media clowns, we are letting Liverpool, rags and Arsenal win. After so much bullshit and witch hunting, we are being too weak. To me, that is fucking shit. Never. Back. Down. Ever.
Especially just because of fat, sweaty rag-paid journalists and gobshite cunts on social fucking media, dickhead rival clubs crying. Fuck them all.

We could have dominated another decade if we hadn’t been so weak/complacent/worried in the transfer market.

My opinion. I’m sticking to it.

No mate. Money doesn't matter in football today.

He absolutely didn’t sign for the money. Not a single penny crossed his mind. He heroically turned down those greedy, soulless offers from Man City, Bayern Munich, and all the other clubs just so he could grace the “Biggest Club in England” - you know, that club with only 6 European Cups, 20 league titles, and You’ll Never Walk Alone bellowing in the background as he steps onto the sacred turf. You know, that famous You’ll Never Walk Alone anthem that is totally unique, never-overdone anthem that definitely doesn’t get wheeled out at every possible opportunity, as if the mere sound of it instantly makes the players run faster, the grass grow greener, and the opposition crumble into tears of awe. This sacred turf is not just any old grass, mind you. This isn’t the same commoner’s blend you’d find at some mid-table stadium. No, no, this is hallowed botanical royalty, hand massaged daily by monks flown in from the Himalayas, each blade blessed individually with holy water imported from the River Mersey itself. It’s rumoured the soil contains fragments of Shankly’s clipboard, and the lawn whispers “This Means More” with every pass. As the players step onto this turf you’re not just playing football you’re communing with history, destiny, and probably a couple of seagulls who’ve been season ticket holders since the 70's.

Ah yes, of course – he absolutely didn’t sign for the money at Liverpool. Not a single penny crossed his mind. Such a selfless act by such a martyr, heroically accepting the burden of global fame, endless sponsorship deals, and a garage full of sports car which is all for the love of the game. Give me a break lads. He signed for Liverpool because they paid the biggest transfer fee and gave him the biggest contract, like every other Footballer.

Catch a few with that I reckon. Christ.

Whatever explanations the club come out with we do seem to have applied the brakes to big signings over the last 12 months especially

Have we approached our spending limits ( on wages or transfers ) or are al the PL stuff finally having an effect

It is highly suspicious when the red shirts all appear to be acting in the same manner at the same time

I think it was only a week apart when the rags and dippers both put their clubs up for sale .... looking for 'new investors'
