9 pages of them.We have definitely had conversations over Paqueta
25 - 30m lol West Ham ain't stupid mate.Pep certainly loves a midfielder
For £25m - £30m can see this done
But then Pep needs to be ruthless with Mr Whippy, Kovacic and possibly one more
Thomas Frank reportedly let it be known Paqueta isn't in his plans. Most of the Paqueta to City reports seem to be coming from Brazil, which suggests it's the player & his representatives pushing for a deal.Putting aside where he fits - West Ham have just sold Kudos, I can’t see them selling Paqueta as well
At 27 years old, he'd be a better long-term investment than 35 year old Gundog & 31 year old Kovacic. Not for me. Some posters bemoan we aren't doing what Liverpool are doing and buying quality over quantity (improving their first 11) and then those same posters want Paqueta. Doesn't make sense to me.

Considering the ages of Gundog & Kovacic, I wouldn't say no. Both are in their 30s, & we'd get a good four years out of Paqueta.

Not a lot wrong with that
We actually are. We started last season with Doku, Grealish, Savinho, and McAtee as the likely wide players. Three of those are heading for the exit ramp. Any other players would be forced out wide to compensate.I know it's not like for like but if Savi does go I'd rather we got Packets over Rodrygo. Much cheaper and gives us more in midfield. We arent short on wing players.
Loool, sorry I meant Graham Potter. :-)Spurs manager says a West Ham player isn’t in his plans….?
But that still doesn't mean we should bring in just anybody. At 27 years old, he'd be a better long-term investment than 35 year old Gundog & 31 year old Kovacic.
Lose two non-HG & gain one who can play 6, 8, 10 & wide left. Makes complete sense to me...
he's left footed you know - Pep likes lefties.Like him but a gamble.
Mate, he was playing for Gollum at WHU, who were constantly battling relegation. When playing fellow relegation fodder, he was played as an 8 or 10.But that still doesn't mean we should bring in just anybody.
He's a very talented player, but blows hot and cold too much. Got so much talent but always felt like he is a luxury player, not someone who will dig in for the team when the chips are down.
Just don't think he's quite good enough for Man City. Maybe Spurs or United, but not City. We need world beaters, not squad players.Mate, he was playing for Gollum at WHU, who were constantly battling relegation. When playing fellow relegation fodder, he was played as an 8 or 10.
However, when facing one of the PL big guns, he was deployed as a 6 in a double pivot, hence him "disappearing" from big games. That's not Paqueta's fault.
Like him but a gamble.
