Pisses me right off when you see this and then the rags are just blatantly doing whatever they like
Rinse and repeat.
If the rags are to get top 5, Newcastle will likely need to be the fall guys so they need a plan.
Get the dippers to unsettle your best player, maybe even sign him, then sign the one player Newcastle want to replace him and you’re 3/4 the way there. The bit they’ve forgotten is that they’re so shit, they’ll struggle to finish top half, never mind top 5…

Puts on his conspiracy hat. Awaits comments....

Guarantee the next FFP / PSR whatever change is going to be linked to revenue rather then profit with probably a % limit on fees and wages to re establish the top order. So long as you've cash coming in you can spend it. Rags know this, probably writing the rules with the other 2 below and will no doubt be whispering into the ears of Wolves, Brentford, Brighton about it and now's the time to cash in on the assets on 5 year terms as we'll not be interested next season at this price.

Think its daft? 1983/84 up until 2011/12, 27 seasons, 5 times a team other then those listed below called themselves Champions of England and 3 of those times it was Chelski.

"In English football, the practice of gate sharing, where a portion of home match revenue was given to the visiting team, was abolished for league games in 1983 by the Football League. This change, driven by the "Big Five" clubs (Liverpool, Everton, Arsenal, Tottenham, and Manchester United) at the time, meant that all gate receipts from league matches stayed with the home club."

Villa, Forrest, Ipswich and Watford start to pose a threat to the order, best shut that down ASAP with a quick meeting. Sound familiar?

As a fan base they seem to be out culting Liverpool with the weirdness they put on the internet.
I am not a Manc either, but even if they were the only football club on the planet, should they show up at my door soliciting my love, I would call the police and have them arrested for stalking me.

I actually think the term is grooming rather than stalking mate.

They’re an organisation full of wrong uns.

SCUM.

WTFAMu.

CTID.

As you were Blues.

They were too late to stop us and Chelsea but they've managed to ensure it never happens again. I'd bet decent money that there are behind the scenes meetings with the big American owners. Still the biggest danger to our game is the number of American owners and to be fair to the Americans they've won.

I've seen some posts on here saying they'll finish outside the top 5 again. Do people genuinely believe that?

United have a totally dire midfield and defence, and a clown in nets. Unless they strengthen these areas they will struggle to make the top ten. Having watched Palace today they will finish below them for starters. I think Arsenal will destroy them in the opening match which will set the tone for the season. The media hype has been unbelievable as usual.

Of course they will.
They finished 15th last season and lost 18 games so they’ll need a miraculous improvement to get near the top 8, never mind top 5.
They finished 31 points behind us and we were awful.
Long may their misery continue…

It's a potential nightmare for them playing Arsenal at the swamp as the first game. I can't see it but prepare for the hype if they scrape any kind of result.
