I wonder if we missed a trick here. Given the shenanigans going on with other clubs perhaps CFG or one or more of our sponsors could have put up prize money - say £100M for the winner and £50M to the runners up. It could have been an invite for any club with their stadium in the bounds of the Cities of Manchester or Palermo and in the top two tiers of their national leagues.

The bad

1) The defence still isn’t quite right even with all of our centre halves back. We still gave up some big chances and Palermo were dreadful.
2) At one point we had Nunes, Gundo, Bernardo, Ake and Akanji all on the pitch together.
3) Doku and Savinho as always flattered to deceive I’m not sure either of them are good enough.
4) I’m still not totally convinced by Marmoush. I think if he gets clattered early on he just doesn’t fancy it. That won’t fly in the EeeePL.
5) If Haaland gets seriously injured the season is done.
6) Gonzo isn’t Rodri
7) Trafford aimlessly pumped the ball up field on occasion.
8) Gutted I wasn’t there.

Arrogant? Weird take. Was not meant that way at all. I'm not going to change the American language I was raised on because of your sensitivities. My point was, who cares? You do you and I'll do me.

whenever we interact with foreigners it really helps if we make an effort to learn and use a few of their basic words.
they will appreciate you for it and accept you all the more.

you come across as having a fuck you i'll do exactly what i want in your country attitude

it is what it is.
you are welcome on this forum but if you insult us when we are simply asking for a small effort at speaking our language it doesn't look good.

Agree about Marmoush….not sure he has got the first touch, or the elite technical ability required…..but not giving up on him just yet.
