Because the Saudi's can.

What's the point in having "fuck you" money if you're not going to splash it around.

They remind me of that Harry Enfield character "loads o money"

It must be driving the owners of Newcastle FC crazy. They'll have at their disposal a war chest that would have made the pisscan's look like a catapult and a pee shooter yet they're totally hamstrung by PSR and FFP.

When you have the wealth and connections that their Saudi owners, and indeed our good Sheikh has, I still can’t understand why they allow bent little cartels like the PL and UEFA to continue shafting them with this FFP bullshit.

Surely they can find and pay the right lawyers to find reasons to fuck PSR and FFP off?

Pretty sure if some dodgy twats were trying to fuck up their multi billion dollar business deals they’d find ways to make that end. Why do we and Newcastle just sit and let rags and dippers spend what they want while we have look for bargains?

I didn't hear Palace fans singing during the Jota silence on the TV. Perhaps the Palace fans were unaware. I have always found their fanbase great and very friendly so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. I suspect the media trying to blame Palace fans are just doing the usual deflection tactics because the LFC fans booed the national anthem again. I am not much of a monarchist myself but it is totally classless to just insult other people. It would be easy to remain silent. I don't buy their spurious claims that it's all because of Thatcher etc.

Because they’re fucking disrespectful scouse fuckwit cunts. If they hate our country so much they should fuck off and live elsewhere, don’t be booing our national anthem. Scouse cunts.

That’s not how you use fuck you money….. You give the player the money, not the club he’s leaving.
That's exactly the point of fuck you money.

You drop £50,000,000.00 to the selling club, and pay the player a kings ransom without breaking a sweat.

It's working perfectly well for them. Nobody will be able to compete with them. Over the next ten years the Saudi league will be full of top premier league and European players while the clubs in England and Europe will be hamstrung by financial restrictions.

The Saudi's don't give a shit about financial fair play they're in it for the long game.

We're already in the process.

Let's not forget while this legal battle is taking place in the courtrooms, we're still dominating on the field.

The rags have lost so much ground on and off the pitch they've become nothing more than a sandbag for the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal and Spurs.

Newcastle might be fucked because they missed out before the premier league raised the drawbridge.

However, we're in the castle now and as much as the cartel want us gone, there are plenty of players who see us as an elite club with a clear pathway to winning major honors.

That's always going to be an attractive proposition for any quality players with ambition.

You don’t drop £50m on a club if there’s no competition for the players signature. You pay as little as possible to the club & as much as possible to the player.

What I’m saying is, how much of the transfer fee is going to Nunez?

First day of the new season

I didn't see the game today, but social media, the national media and dipper players are sticking the boot into the Palace fans for not staying silent.
We had the same shit a couple of years ago at the semi final, which fell on the anniversary of Hillsborough, they'd booed the national anthem, a few City on the concourse were singing and the minutes silence was cut short.
There's a pattern forming, the murderers boo the national anthem then expect every man and his dog to respect whatever minutes silence they are observing that day, the grief monkeys love a minutes silence.
They show no respect for anything then expect respect in return, I'm sorry it doesn't work like that, how many minutes silences are they gonna hold for Jotta, he died too young and in tragic circumstances, but these self pitying cunts think it's a road show.

The scouse are just grief merchant cunts, always have been they even expect grief support if they kill people accidentally on purpose.

I understand the point you're making completely and I agree, if it were a rival club either in the UK or abroad it makes perfect sense.

However, this is the Saudi's were talking about and money is literally no object to them.

They care not a jot if they've made Liverpool FC a profit. In fact they couldn't give two hoots about any club outside their league.

These American owned clubs are mere paupers compared to the Saudi's and of course our great Sheikh Mansour.

The reality is the members of the red cartel cannot keep up with us. Look what it's done to the rags and now we have Liverpool spending beyond their financial model. We've got Spurs scrambling to pay for their new stadium and Arsenal are working overtime just to finish second.

Give it a few years and I promise you the cartel will be coming to us cap in hand pleading for mercy.

They will still be getting pityful crowds though.

He scored 7 in his last 50 games, if you see a £50m player there then I’ve got a bridge to sell you.
You were commenting on the 'high' fees paid by Saudi clubs citing the Nunez transfer fee. The Nunez fee is £46m plus add ons. The original transfer fee was £64m rising to £85m with add-ons. See also the Ekitike and Sesko fees. The Saudit's fee for Nunez is not really remarkable. The loss that Liverpool have incurred is.

I see they are moaning about palace fans singing during the minute silence for Jota. It is bad but they have very short memories. Happy to take the piss when the queen died and I remember we played them at home the weekend after George best died and there was a minute silence at every ground - well everywhere except the away end where the liverpool fans were as they sang all the way through it
They had a trophy parade for a cup won on penalties on the anniversary of Heysel. After that and all the other shit coming from that cult, they are in no position to moan about anything but always the victims of course, they do.
