Palestine Action

Hmmm... gone quiet all of a sudden... No PM's either....

You're not calling me out on lies, you're refusing to discuss them away from the thread because you want this perceived idea all PA members are squeaky clean when they aren't.
I refuse to debate you on PM because it's just another way of you deflecting the issue.

Richard Barnard was charged last year of showing support for Hamas. He is a co-founder of PA. Am I lying about that?
Ah see, how hard was that? Like pulling teeth with you. So your evidence is that someone was charged, but has not been convicted. Not quite enough for me, but I can accept that some people might consider that evidence that he has 'publicly supported Hamas.'

I'd like to apologise for calling you a liar in that case, but I'd also like to point out that I had every reason to given how difficult it's been to get you to back up anything you've claimed on this thread.

Erm, he set up a crowd funder which has since been pulled. In fact many of the things relating to him has been '404'd. Hard to give you evidence when they themselves remove it. I asked you to beleive me, citing I had no reason to lie. I support ANYONE who wishes to protest against the violence in Gaza. I HATE Netenyahu for what he's done to Palestine, the chance of a two-stale solution (In which Israel MUST return occupied lands back and acknowledge those territories) and Israel's worldwide reputation.

But supporting groups like PA wo encourage violence to do that, I do not support. That's my only stance.

Shove your apology, you tried to paint me as someone i'm not.

Honestly mate, as I say, I came to this thread with no opinion on PA, but when people have posted stuff, I've genuinely read into it and looked it up. Hence why I might not instantly reply if you actually post something worth looking up. I am fully open to the idea that the government have evidence that we don't yet know about, but based on current evidence that people have shared, the decision to make them a terrorist group seems based on very thin evidence.

It's not thin evidence. The group itself has declared responsibility for a number of acts. Vicar Johnson and Old Lady Agnes attending the marches 'aren't', but those committing the acts are the reason the group has been proscribed, not just for the airplane attack.

There are some nasty individuals in that organisation, ones with an ulterior motive. THEY got the group regarded as a terrorist organisation. Showing supportive of it currently is illegal. That might change, it might not. Knowing that and still showing support, isn't a wise decision right now. I am not against people protesting about Palestine. I AM against THIS group being allowed to.

No, the stupid law says that. All this is totally unnecessary, we have criminal laws to deal with PA. Why make it so controversial, what is the benefit, cui bono?
It’s a stupid own goal by the Government like banning Gerry Adams from being broadcast on TV in the 80s which turned him into a Martyr. Starmer has lost the plot. It was also a mistake to overreact to the Southport riots. This stupidity just plays into the hands of extremists…on both sides.

You want to discuss it? PM me, no need clogging up the thread with your nonsense. More than happy to do it there.

But you won't because you 'need' an audience.

Edit: PM sent.
Deleted reply, reserving judgement till actual conviction.

Has he now? Richard Barnard, co-founder of PA, was charged with showing support for Hamas last year, which is a criminal offence. He called for Hamas to kill Israelis. Where's the lie?
Chapter and verse for what he said?

Or is this another crock of a charge? "Expressing an opinion that is supportive of a proscribed organisation contrary to section 12 of the Terrorism Act 2000"

Oh, and what have you done to stop the genocide?

Time for me to leave the thread now; the Maga style loonies have arrived.

What have you done?

When do we get to hear you’ve been arrested if that’s the measure of being seen to do something?

Absolutely ridiculous and simplistic reductionism. No-one said it is the measure, people are saying it's a measure.

It was also a mistake to overreact to the Southport riots.

How so ?
Hundreds were bricking and setting fire to police , setting fire to Hotels and Mosques. Riots would have got completely out of control if it wasn’t for Starmer and coming down hard on some of the c*nts who were instigating and pouring more petrol on the fire. God only knows how bad it would have been if Farage was PM and Migrants were being attacked.

What have you done to stop the genocide?
No member of the public anywhere is going to do anything to stop it. Sitting at home watching Homes Under The Hammer is going to have exactly the same effect on what’s going on in Gaza as anyone turning up to a protest in their local town centre outside or making millions of pounds worth of damage to businesses.

The Israeli govt won’t even notice there are protests going on in Britain. Even if they did, they wouldn’t give a shit.

Well that's obvious nonsense. See Israeli reaction to the proposal that the UK recognises a Palestinian state.

There's a genocide going on and British companies and British armed forces are facilitating it and you're choosing to do nothing.

If you're against the genocide, at least tell your MP.

You said ‘to stop the genocide’. The genocide will only stop when Israel has gained enough of the land of Gaza as they set out to take. Nothing I do will do anything to stop that.

Do you tell your MP about everything you have an issue with?
