Bobb has been the Palmer replacement, the Alvarez replacement and now the Savinho replacement, all without actually starting more than half a dozen games for us.
I love the kid, but this is not good squad planning.
Hard to play with a broken leg

It says that he is a human being, a young lad, who is concerned that he isn't going to get the pitch time he thought when he signed. So when it’s reported that a player is up for a move what does that say to you?
We’re going to have to beg to differ on this one. For me, Haaland is more the broadsword and that kind of play requires a stiletto. Not really though I think Haaland is better than some think, but it requires quick passing of the 3 behind him and the 2 fullbacks, plus Reijnders, We have that it just requires Haaland's movement to get into positions to receive the ball which he can do very well.
Think Mukasa is going to see more time than we realise atm
Being out for a year with a broken leg makes it even more ridiculous to just assume he will be fit all season.Hard to play with a broken leg
Nah mate, Savinho had more than enough minutes last season I think. No one is guaranteed minutes and its always been that, Savinho could very well just prove why he needs to be picked every game.I'm not surprised he's keen on the move, as he was probably expecting us to say "not selling, fuck off", rather than "how much?".
If you as a player feel like you're not valued that highly, why not go somewhere you will be?
This is Palmer all over again. Years of "he wanted to leave, fuck him" instead of asking ourselves why. Shit squad planning and an inability or unwillingness to move on the players that need moving on. If Savinho thinks he won't get enough minutes, it's because Gundo, Kovacic and Bernardo will take the midfield minutes of Foden and Cherki, forcing them out onto the right. Not rocket science.
I get what you’re saying but the club couldn’t legislate for a broken leg, just when it looked like Bobb was in the cusp of something very decent. He has a lot to prove but with Sav gone, he might actually get that chance. If Sav was to stay, there will be a hell of a lot of chopping and changing on that right wing and I’m not sure that does anyone any favours. How many times have we seen players hit form only to be benched? I’m not a fan of that at all.Bobb has been the Palmer replacement, the Alvarez replacement and now the Savinho replacement, all without actually starting more than half a dozen games for us.

Completely agree about Palmer….. but you could see his potential in the few games he appeared in for us.Fair enough. But he did just run the game against the champions of Europe and lead Chelsea to the Club World Cup.
I'd take Palmer back in a heartbeat he's the best in his position in the Prem.
He believed in himself and it's paid off. I can see the same happening with Savinho. He'll be top class when it all clicks, which it will.
Oh yeah I think Jack is gone as well but wouldn’t be surprised if something happened in that deal, there’s a lot more to go wrong in a Grealish deal as the numbers are huge and he’s underperformed.Grealish is gone to Everton thats very advanced according to Paul Joyce. The thing is Afcon will hurt us this season Ait nouri and Marmoush will be gone. With Savinho sale your wing options next season are even more limited.

After the shit show from the entire team last season I don't see how anyone can have formed a negative opinion on a 21 year old kid who is still settling in.
Nunes won't be going anywhere.I like savinho and I think he is a good player who is likely to improve
But I get the feeling pep and Hugo have looked at Liverpool and Arsenal and decided we need to target top quality.
We need to be ruthless. savinho, doku, nunes and mcatee are all not at the level we used to have
if we can get a decent fees then we have to let good players leave and target top quality ones
And now we are seemingly here he doesnt do enough to win the ball back by a country mile. Last season as we know there were many times we didn't. Was like playing vrs u15s team sometimes how soft we were vrs nearly anyone at one stage.Pep thinks he's a serial chance misser and final ball bungler.
Minutes and stats are all well and good but we dont need an 18 year old fringe utility player. We already have Rico Lewis for that. Yes home grown and with potential but currently we need a starting right back therefore should squeeze that slime Levy and crew for as much money as possible to put towards funding a RB (if we even decide to puchase one - is RB to become the new LB?).Gray did play regularly though, 46 appearances and 3244 minutes, for a player who was 18 for the majority of the season that's impressive. Its more minutes than Savinho played and only 6 City players played more.
Bobb won Academy POTY twice - we know about his quality. Only the other day I saw one of our players interviewed who singled out Oscar Bobb as the player that had impressed him the most.I get what you’re saying but the club couldn’t legislate for a broken leg, just when it looked like Bobb was in the cusp of something very decent. I guess you could argue that if he improves his finishing the he could be very good but this makes grim watching
One of the better players last year. Admittedly not a high barIt says that he is a human being, a young lad, who is concerned that he isn't going to get the pitch time he thought when he signed.
