The booing of the national anthem is politically motivated. I can understand why the people of Liverpool would do it. I don't feel it needs to be done by everyone.

I don't sing it due to my dislike of Charles. I did sing it when QEII was at the helm.

EDIT.
It is about the establishment. If one can separate footballing rivalries, from just being a human being, concentrate on just being a member of the public, one might understand it more. I feel that a lot of people understand why but they don't go into detail because of the subject matter. I won't either.
No it's being booed because your fucking fans are a disgraceful bunch of cunts who should have all been drowned at birth
I for one despise your fan base and can only wish the worst for each and every one of them.
Disrespectful cunts who have a huge me me me syndrome

I will always be upset with the Scousers for attacking the City coach. I will never forgive them for doing that. Not ever! :-(

You prefer me posting on any thread, Jim. ;-)

Dijk doesn’t mention Liverpool fans booing the national anthem, and singing about the Queen dieing.

The fee doesn't matter? Funny, it usually does to you lot whenever City sign someone, or does it not matter now you've signed -

The world's most expensive goalkeeper (Allison was when signed),
The world's most expensive defender (VVD was when signed),
The countries most expensive midfielder (Wirtz),
& potentially,
The world's most expensive centre forward (Isak)
All paid for by the fraudstes at Western Union and money Standard Chartered laundered for ISIS.

I think it depends.

Some sides treat the Community Shield as a training match - other sides want to win the trophy.

For me, Liverpool and Palace both wanted the trophy. Fielding their best sides.
I mean yeah, you obviously want to win it, but it literally counts as a friendly in the stats. Personally, I think any trophy where you automatically qualify for the final by winning another trophy doesn't count. It's just an exhibition. Same with the UEFA Super Cup and until this season, the Club World Cup.

Cheers.

But I still think that it's a matter of perspective.

The underdog side going into the Community Shield I think is going to be extremely motivated to win the trophy - that may be their only chance at hardware in the coming season.

The favorite side - well, whom do they play? They could mostly care less about the cup. But whom to they play? For me, Liverpool basically played their best side for the most part, and lost. And because of this, I think it's more than fair to draw preliminary conclusions about both sides that will carry over into the P/L.

That’s not the article though is it? Can you find any article that even mentions your fans booing the anthem yesterday? Compare the number to those that mention CP fans disrespecting the Jota tribute. Do you see a little bias
My fans? Fuck off with that! I was just making the point of how the general footballing public accross the nation view this deluded, entitled club and its fans compared to how the media sees it.

Van Dick is going down the Camel Gob route, when the pace goes you become a liability.
