Savinho | City reject Spurs approach

I actually thought it looked like the penny has started to drop a bit with Savinho in the CWC, and that he was starting to produce a bit more where it mattered.

I’ll be a bit disappointed if he goes, but I suppose it depends on the fee and who we replace him with.

But if Savinho is deemed not good enough for us, and can be shown the door if we can sign a better replacement, then there should be quite a few in the squad looking over their shoulders.

I think we should let our emotions go with Savinho. Frustrating as fuck last season, and it's pretty clear why Pep is allowing him to leave plus it sounds like he wants to go

I'd sell him at the right price, but the right price has to be closer to £90-100m than £50m. He's 21 and has shown he can score loads of goals. Give him another season or two before we consider moving him on unless it's at an astromical profit. £50m is a nothing fee in this day and age.
£90m are you high. hes scored 1 goal in the premier league.

This constant mentioning of the one season that Savio had in La Liga and his stats is a bit much. Marcus Stewart was class that one season for Ipswich in the Prem. I think Michael Ricketts had a decent season once as well.

Id prefer to use my eyes to judge what we saw last season, here, in the Prem

All potential, but no actual delivery IMHO. Ten goals per season and I'd change my mind.

We only sell if:
1-The player isnt good enough
2-We have a better player already in the squad (O Bobb?)
3-The player wants to leave (probably because of 2 or he simply cant get used to live in Manc/UK)

It's crazy how one can finish 4th in the Ballon D'Or young player voting and still be on the same level.

I'm surprised how many blues don't get what we've got in Savinho. Give it 5 years and we'll all be talking about how unlucky he was to have a 2% conversion rate the year he was here.

He's better than Salah was at 21, not far off Rodrygo right now (never more than 15 G/A in la liga), much better than elanga or madueke who just moved for more.
Man City isn't Lille or Dortmund . We can't have someone playing week in week out cause he might be world class in 5 years

Injured all season....lol.watch the Newcastle away goal lad, then watch all of savinhos games where he goes past someone and dies nothing...that why pep will sell him, but yeh, you know best
Lad? You from Merseyside? I know best because I've spoken facts? 1 solitary goal? Lol.

Calm down lad.

I've watched them both a lot and as of now Savinho is a better player than Bobb, Bobb is living off one moment of brilliance and brilliance it was but that's it.

Again you say Savinho goes past people and does nothing yet Bobb has 1 assist in 17 league appearances. People need to stop thinking that every player we have in the youth is the next big thing, we've produced one that's broke in and stayed and thats Phil Foden.

There's already top sources that have actually said Pep doesn't want to sell and with the amount of minutes he gave him last season I don't think he does.

Right that's Khus, Reis, Bobb, O Reilly, Rico, Nico, Trafford, Doku, Cherki done then.

Nothing for the future at all, that'll work.
Savinho and his team think being a player for the future is beyond him . Wants to be first choice . An ego out of control

He got 9 goals and 9 assists in 22/23

Why on Earth do you think he wants to move to Spurs !!
I honestly don't sit around imagining what footballers think.

Maybe hes pure evil and wants out immediately and Spurs are building a shrine to him.

Maybe Hugo has said, someone has to go, you'll be first choice, make the world cup and we're putting in a buy back for 80m.

No one knows or will know.

If we’re actually serious about negotiating with Spurs, I sincerely hope we enquire about the likes of Porro, van de Ven and Gray.
