Not sure you’ve properly grasped what sarcasm means mate, but you carry on!

We have squad restrictions which we're up against already, and buying yet more foreign players for astronomical fees when we can’t register the ones we’ve got already is not a sound strategy.

Neither is dropping over £250m on two players.

Forcing two players out who we’ve only just signed for over £100m in January would give us a horrendous reputation in the market for not having a clue what we’re doing.

The Club would have to be fucking stupid to make these moves.

You say football is a business, which of course is absolutely right - and what you’re suggesting is no way to run a business.

It’s what would happen if you appointed a four year old as your CEO.

No clear strategy, absolutely no financial responsibility, a purely reactive business model which means you change course every couple of months, an approach to the market that seems to boil down to chasing shiny things with no clear sense of purpose or direction, no understanding of or acknowledgement of the basic rules you’re required to operate within.

You genuinely seem to be suggesting we run the Club like we’re a child playing a computer game.

Is Isak better than Marmoush overall?

Last season Marmoush scored more goals, more assists etc.

Plus we'd not have Isak and Haaland at City

True. Still think there's potential deals for Akanji and Gundo out there.

Let's be honest we didnt expect all this to happen at once today. Club clearly making moves.

From what I've read they either want Echeverri at Girona or City as they want to handle his development in house, he's incredibly highly rated. Nunes would only go if we secured a RB, then you have the same problem - if Livramento not an issue but if foreign still need to move players on. I would say that deal is dead but still no new contract which was touted if he didnt join City...

Good player but don’t see him as a winger personally. We need someone with electric pace, who can score, and can switch flanks.

Would love Barcola but can’t see PSG letting him go. He’s not a natural finisher but Adeyemi has a lot of tools to be lethal for us and offer us something completely different.

Don’t really see the fit as much with him. Rodrygo on the other hand can play on both wings — given that Bobb and Doku are our only wingers (naturally) and are injury-prone, I think someone with Rodrygo’s versatility is useful. Also gives us the option to swap the wingers sides when we can. I know this didn’t really work with Doku and Savinho but might with Rodrygo.

It’s definitely a weakness of his but if it improves, there’s a top top player there, who can give us another option.

Cherki, Foden, Xavi Simons, Marmoush etc all seem to occupy similar positions and profiles, we need variety.
