I bought one of those once, it looked like I'd painted it on, took it off and it is in the drawer of shame now :)Player versions are super flimsy. They are designed for 90 minutes wear.

They should throw all the other shirts we have for this season into primark as well. The fit is terrible. Very baggy and the sleeves are too long. There’s a reason they’re in Primark.
Rant over.

At 61 I an not the target audience however young lad a few doors down already has it suspect it will be Uber popular with our younger fans & those with poor eyesightFucking disgusting.
Bad enough having three kits
We seem to have 5 kits - Blue/white sash, Black/silver trim, Grey/rain, White/Embassy No.1, Orange/black/yellow sash.Fucking disgusting.

The Ultraweave things are so flimsy it’s untrue -the Black and Red thing I got a few years back with KDB on the back (as a tribute type thing) went in the drawer after I’d worn it twice cos (i) it was uncomfortable and (ii) it felt as if would rip given the slightest untoward movementI bought one of those once, it looked like I'd painted it on, took it off and it is in the drawer of shame now :)
tbh I can remember folk complaining about them as well lolI remember Nike's player versions were genuinely much higher quality. Puma's are awful.
In contrast I bought the Player Version of the Bridgewater Hall top when it was on offer and it’s my “go to” Top (i) cos it’s ace and (ii) cos it’s well comfy and not the Ultraweave crap. Seriously I would advise strongly anyone considering shelling out for the “£130 Authentic” kit to give it a miss -as they are simply not viable as a matchday wear -not for any length of time anywayThe Ultraweave things are so flimsy it’s untrue -the Black and Red thing I got a few years back with KDB on the back (as a tribute type thing) went in the drawer after I’d worn it twice cos (i) it was uncomfortable and (ii) it felt as if would rip given the slightest untoward movement
‘Does that cagoule even work, your shirts all wet’I get the feeling the new third kit will look good on telly/from a distance when the players have the shorts and socks on, with the bright yellow giving them some impact. However when a bloke in the pub has an XXL version underneath a cagoule it's not gonna look good...
