People trying to bring the government down, or just chaos?

The problem with this Labour government is that they are absolutely ripping themselves apart mainly through ignorance, stupidity and naivety.... and basically lying in their manifesto and has been proven many times through Starmers continuing U turns just saying what they think the public wants to hear.

They do have a massive Parliamentary majority but I tell you what.... it is also a very very fragile majority which could and maybe already has been wiped out come the next election.

So no, I am not trying to bring the Government down.... it is doing that very well to its own self

What lie ? Also saying what the public want to hear ? You mean like we are broke and need to raise taxes and cut winter fuel ?

The current government have actually done lot of good things. Planning reform record NHS investment, stopped the first lot of strikes, record deportations, India, US, Europe deals, wage rises, interest rate cuts, record investment, reviews on everything, new regulators, I am sure I missed lots.

If you look at Twitter, there certainly talk of the government being against the people and talk of overwhelming the police and I would say a few who are actually calling for something more sinister. Some seemingly pro American / Israeli /Trump and probably some Russian or Chinese bots and some probably just far right

So what’s going on and what should be done ?

Unfortunately I think it’s going to get a lot worse before it gets better and that’ll probably have to involve having a reform government in power.

We’re still as a society stuck in the “had enough of experts” stage, which has been accelerated by the internet and social media.

Come on in so far as the press goes it is pretty much a level playing field.... oh and lets not mention the Socialist Worker.
 
We cannot afford more migrants. We send record amounts to other countries which we shouldn't and cannot afford. Im fucking sick of paying taxes on everything . Bring it on.

Talk tv ? GB News ? Times ? LBC ? The sun Even the BBC and Sky Farage on more than should be and right wing paper reviews are generally louder if not more common place than the left wing ones or QT very right wing audience and even panel

what an odd post. Do you travel on UK road and rail? Do you ever use the NHS in any way shape or form? Would you expect there to be Armed Forces to protect us in times of hostility? Would you rather have no law enforcement, no courts nor prisons systems? These are all what everyone's taxes who pays them funds. I'd personally welcome an opt out of taxes to go along with a compulsory opt out of anything that taxes provides for those who opt out. good luck with that.
 
We’re all just a little more poor after Tory rule, and people are just a little more fucked off. This leads to dissatisfaction and with the current hammering by those of the ‘Right’ persuasion in all areas, it fuels discontent and public outrage.

Luckily, they want the ‘Right’ persuasion back in power to fuck us all over even more.

And that’s what it’s all about, making people believe that it isn’t the elite of the establishment that are doing this to you, and some are buying it hook, line and sinker.

Arent the numbers of illegal boat crossings higher than ever?

They are at least trying to do something about, but it’s hardly as positive as you’re suggesting. Overall on that particular issue both the tories and labour have been shocking.

Secondly do you work for labour ;)

The Tories had 14 years
Labour have had 1.
They’re already doing far more on the issue than the Tories.
