He respects City, Pep apparently really rates him, he can operate across both flanks/middle and up top and the biggest factor for me is he can do it in big games.Got to the point now where I’d e gutted if we didn’t sign rodrygo. Always really rated him and I’m not convinced savinho is that good tbh!!

Personally I hope we get him, think he suits Pep and our style of play down to the ground. We're missing a bit of clarity and composure in the attacking line.

We’ve struggled to get rid of the players we apparently wanted to move on.
All very strange the word is Sav has agreed to it etc. as well.
Basically we either want him gone/want to upgrade the player in the squad.
Something definitely has happened in my opinion. Spurs aren’t a team that when they come knocking City are open to selling a talented young player and he’s immediately ready to jump ship.
We have Cherki/Bobb/Foden who can cover the right. Hence why Savinho is going (potentially). With Rodrygo/Doku/Marmoush to cover the left (Grealish also gone). Albeit Rodrygo can do a job all across the front line. Yeah this really opens the door for Marmoush to play behind Haaland as we know he’s not a winger.We have Cherki/Bobb/Foden who can cover the right. Hence why Savinho is going (potentially). Cherki and Foden will play in the right and move in. Doku is a proper winger either side.
It would really be a great signing.
For me it’s between Doku and Savio - to make this work one has to go. And to be honest I think Doku offers us more currently. Plus we will get a good fee for Savio.

So could well be right that Sav wants out, we don't want an unhappy player and are publicising this offer to garner interest from other, more reasonable clubs whilst giving us time to find the best deal for a replacement.We might want to get rid but don’t want that narrative out there.

I think City would be comfortable to let Savinho go if we could bring in Rodrygo, at least I would be happy with that move. I don't think Rodrygo's stats are that exciting but I think he is more advanced at the moment than Savinho.We might want to get rid but don’t want that narrative out there.

To put it bluntly from a Madrid source who's good for info on her twitch stream. They said that Rodrygo wants to leave as he is sick and tired of the egos of the main three nothing to do with where he plays hed like to play on the left but its mostly to do with the egos. It's becoming a major problem at Madrid.

115 is the biggest concern and shows that most clubs and organisations are against the club not just little old tinpot spurs.
If we can get up to 70m for Savio that’s a good deal for us and probably all we care about. And like you say we never want unhappy players, especially squad players that can really affect the overall atmosphere. Not like he’s starting every week, scoring for fun but just wants to move to Spain for the lifestyle. He wants out for game time etc.
The fact we have a replacement lined up and is being reported by Romano who we know has links to Viana and is also now the biggest influencer in football transfers - especially the big ones involving teams like City/Madrid shows it’s all a matter of time. (Hopefully!!)
Also I can’t believe I’m saying this but mending a relationship with Spurs wouldn’t be a bad thing. Let’s be honest they get some good players there that will aspire to win the lot so would love to come to City. I’m a big fan of Archie Gray, he’s a truly fabulous football player with bags of potential.

Marmoush Haaland Rodrygo
Would be similar to the dippers three striker system with Mane , Salah and Firmino
3 players who like to cut inside and can finish. Haaland being the link up up front. Doing that the front three are then fluid and move around instead of sticking to the wing. Then Nunes and Ait Nouri can bomb on down the wings.
Watching pre season we were starting to see that come into shape. Bobb , Marmoush were not staying wide they were cutting inside at every opportunity
Fuck that would be so much fun with Cherki, Reijnders and Rodri behind.
