That's a PSG problem though, he felt disrespected after his best season, they signed a new goalkeeper.

Apparently an agreement with him won't be difficult for us.
They signed a new GK because he doesn't want to extend.

All I'm saying is it makes sense for PSG to lower his wage because he's on Haaland levels of money and that's just insane for a GK.

PSG would have wanted to keep him and not sign a new GK.

He will have to lower his wages to come here as well. I'd love to have him though, yes he's worse with his feet Than Ederson but everyone is. He's also so much better with his hands. He's a world class game winning GK.

Quite the scattergun approach to the transfer window.
What’s scattergun about it?

Kdb leaving, need a goal scoring midfielder, sign Reijnders

Cherki, not a replacement as such but reinforcement and taking advantage of a market opportunity to grab a talent for cut down price.

Ortega and Carson leaving, replaced with young talent in Trafford and experienced head in Bettinelli

Ait Nouri, recognised LB for a squad that doesn’t have one. Talented, prem proven and a good price.

Can someone in the know please let Viana know that sometimes I'm just hear shooting the breeze.

He doesn't really have to go get evey player i have ever suggested...

My goodness! What's next? A Vanderson link? :)

On second thought... Viana DO You!

I am here for it. :)

Thing is if Ederson goes Ortega goes, we have Trafford it means we needs another top goalie if we go for a number 2 and Trafford stutters we in trouble! Tells me if Ederson do go we will go for a player like this but wages wise it be 2/3x more than what Ederson is on been on!

We moving mad here as a club!

Get him signed, he’s a brilliant keeper.

Absolutely don’t want him going to the shit rag twats.

It's been a mad few days, very different to our usual approach. This one does seem to be picking up momentum, and can't say I'd be unhappy with it as he's a top goalkeeper. Obviously nowhere near Ederson with his feet, but I'd feel a lot more confident with him in nets going to places like Anfield and the Emirates.

All I'm saying is, he will make the argument that they won the CL because of him. He was vital against Liverpool, they never looked like losing that shootout.

He'll probably get a signing on fee with us and probably doesn't mind a wage cut elsewhere, especially on a 5/6 year deal.

Genuinely think Romano and Agents are just using City to generate intrest in players, Rodrygo and Donarumma have been touted around for a few week now, Windows closing soon and neither player has seen solid intrest. Let's throw City's name in and farm intrest.

Different qualities to admire.

Think we need to find that balance between ball playing and vital saves. Ederson hasn't been there since the treble season, despite still be excellent with his feet.

Like you say, with Donnarumma it would feel like he's got 2-3 big saves in him at those places. PSG never looked like losing that shootout to Liverpool last year.

Elite shot stopper but shite with his feet. Complete opposite to Ederson in many ways.

Penny for James Trafford’s thoughts also

We have 4 players who can play left back in
Air-Nouri, Gvardiol, Ake and O’Reilly.

Meanwhile at right back we have
Nunes, Lewis and Akanji?

We currently have 4 goalkeepers on the books. The one we just signed for a British record is about to become a complete non-factor if Donnarumma comes in.

We’ve also been unable to shift any of our aging or injury prone players.
