Gianluigi Donnarumma | Done deal according to Romano

It's been a mad few days, very different to our usual approach. This one does seem to be picking up momentum, and can't say I'd be unhappy with it as he's a top goalkeeper. Obviously nowhere near Ederson with his feet, but I'd feel a lot more confident with him in nets going to places like Anfield and the Emirates.

Genuinely feels like FIFA career mode. Its mental

Absolutely zero chance, even if Ederson leaves.

The man can't trap a bag of cement let alone a football

1. We have Trafford who is very similar to Donnarumma. Big, very good shot stoppers with superb pen records. The latter being 26 makes Trafford signing entirely pointless.. He's not come here to play back-up for 5 years. Would be a **** move.

2. Donnarumma is on 350k a week.. He'll not be accepting a big wage cut anywhere so he'd have to be our 2nd highest paid player. Which would be a joke.

If Ederson is off then get the bank transfer ready to send to PSG - we simply can’t start the season with Trafford in net

Read the Hawkins tweet again, he clearly says personal terms not an issue and the player wants to come. Pretty clear he's going to be on about £20k a week and as many jars of dolmio from the canteen as he wants

Fabrice Hawkins is a very, very reliable journalist here in France, number 1 for the transfer window, especially regarding PSG transfers.

No he's not, and that's been his issue for the past two summers. He's paid less than Kalvin Phillips

Capology is absolute nonsense mate, their figures are notoriously low. He did not sign a contract extension in 2021 for £100k when players like De Bruyne were getting circa £350k-£400k.

Ederson will be on comfortably over £200k, probably pushing £300k, as will all the other senior established players in the squad.

Not a fan of this at all
Why not? We have to be realistic with Trafford. It would be good enough for him to adapt to the PL and miraculous for him to adapt to UCL Football in his first season. Our starting XI can’t accommodate potential anymore especially at the back, we need proven quality

Tell me you don't watch Donnarumma without telling me you don't watch Donnarumma lol

He's class mate ha
I watch him plenty for Italy

As a shot stopper, exceptional

With the ball at his feet, absolutely tripe

And we can all moan about Ederson's shot stopping but the club obviously value a 'keepers skill on the ball
