Trafford if a deal is done it’ll be to late for Donnarumma to start I’d put him on the bench. If a deal is not done yet but close Ederson won’t be interested and we wouldn’t risk an injury
 
The majority of PSG fans are disappointed with the club's management for wanting to part ways with the Italian goalkeeper. In my opinion, the decision was made a few months ago. PSG didn't expect to win the Champions League with Donnarumma and that he would be the key figure behind this victory, especially since he refused a pay cut, so they seized the opportunity to see Chevalier, the future number 1 of the French national team, rise to prominence. They declared two years ago that they wanted to prioritize French talent, and so they reached an agreement with the Lille goalkeeper. Donnarumma was terrible at kicking when he signed for PSG four years ago, but he's improved a lot in recent months with Luis Enrique. Of course, he's still a long way behind Ederson, who is the best in the world in this area. However, he's a monster on the line with Courtois; there's no one better. I see him even stronger next season, he will be keen to prove to the Parisian club that they were wrong in parting ways with him.
 
Trafford in for a surprise if we land this guy. doubt we told him "btw Ederson will be sold, for Donnarumma, so you need to fight him and not Ederson on his last year of contract"

As good as he is (and he is the best shot stopper in the world) we would have to change our whole style of play - now if Pep is going to do this then fine ....but it would be very unlike Pep to do such a thing. Ederson has been integral to the way the whole team plays as he si so good with his feet. Donarumma for want of a better word is shit. If we try to play out from the back with him teams will just press and press usand we will concede due to a lot of mistakes .....

It will be interesting to see what happens here - this sighing as good a keeper as he is makes no sense unless Pep is about to change the way the team plays

I think you can accuse Ederson of a lot of things - he might not be the best shot-stopper and he sometimes makes batshit crazy decisions... but I don't think you can ever accuse him of being short on mentality.

I have been watching the bloke for the best part of a decade and I've never seen a goalkeeper come close to matching his level of "I'll do whatever the fuck I want, thanks". All goalkeepers will have moments where they look uncertain on the ball, Donnarumma often looks nervous on the ball. I've never seen Eddie look remotely arsed, I think that part of his brain is just wired differently. Like those people who do tightrope walking.

If this move happens, it's probably just that Eddie's time has come, he wants to move on, and there really isn't anybody remotely like him available in the market. He is one of a kind. Getting the best shot stopper might be the next best thing.
