Savinho | City reject Spurs approach

£60M seems to be the number we are willing to sell at so i dont see Levy not getting there to be honest.

Some things that might not have shown up in your stats: 1 league goal, woeful finishing and composure
One season of completely statistically anomalous finishing, sure.

2% conversion rate, won't be repeated. It'd be harder to miss 40 out of 41 shots than some just bounce in, as he shoots on target over half the time.

Which obviously hurt his composure and confidence when shooting, I'm not here to deny that.

But if you think it's smart to sell proveably one of the best dribblers and passers in the league at 21 years old off the back of a historically low conversion rate fair enough.

I think it'd be very short sighted.

If he hasn’t got the confidence to back himself in front of goal for us, then he isn’t good enough is he?

Like fuck he’s one of the best passers in the league hahaha, have you even seen him play?

The statistical anomaly is his 9 goals in La Liga:

These people getting excited that we might get £60 million for a 21 year old brazilian international who where not under any pressure to sell who had a o.k season in a poor city side are the same people who if he has a breakout season if sold to those wankers are the same people who'll be having hissy fits next season telling everyone the club don't know what there doing just to buy real madrid cast offs maybe we should resign brahim diaz think these fuckers always disappointed how many chrismas presents they used to get as kids

Mate if you can't interpret the data, for his passing and dribbling I'm happy to disagree. If he's statistically in the 98-99% percentile its incredibly good. Unless you're a top scout, I'm not sure your eyes (or my eyes for that matter) are enough to disprove that.

I watch him every week and I rate him. I accept his finishing was shocking. I don't remember us having a youngster since foden who was better in his dribbling or more intelligent in his movement.

You think that 2% conversion rate (the actual worst in Europe last season) the real measure of him, then you go for that.

Confidence and shooting are very much improvable traits.

Not excited but I think many of us see it as good business. Savinho isn’t currently of the required level, didn’t show last season that he’ll even get there, for me.

Can’t hit a barn door, and when we’ve gone from the likes of Sterling and Mahrez getting 30 goal involvements, it’s just not good enough is it?

I also think he doesn’t really suit the new style we’re going for with wingbacks and inside forwards.

You’ve just admitted that he has the worst conversion rate of any player in Europe, and yet you still think he’s worth £100m.

You must know you’re making no sense at all?
