Julien Laurens is a PSG and Arsenal supporter. He's been very critical of Pep and Manchester City since Haaland's decision to "stay humble" for Arteta. I listen to him every Monday on RMC French radio on the show "Charlie's Angels" from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.

He knows nothing, he has no information, and seeing a rival like City strengthen is his last wish, as much as any Arsenal supporter would have!
Always got sly digs in about City and money even when PSG were at peak spending. Nothing but a know nowt hypocrite

I still think Laurens is being very nice towards us considering all that, especially on ESPN. If all 'City haters' talked like him I wouldn't even mind them anymore. He gives us high praises when we deserve them instead of going 'bbbut what about the charges?'.

If you say so.

Was you part of our fanbase clamouring for him to come back to City a few weeks ago?
Clamouring is a strong word but yes I am happy he signed. Mainly because using a foreign spot for the number 2 is a waste of time when you can have a decent young understudy that's homegrown.

Our financial accounts, if you average out the wages across the senior squad it gives you a fairly rough idea that capalogy is nonsense.

In April 2021 De Bruyne signed an extension for roughly anywhere around £350k-£400k with bonuses etc...

September 2021, Ederson signs an extension, consistently in the top 5 of the Yashin trophy, senior member of the squad, isnt signing a deal for £100k a week.
Dunno what a capalogy is, but I'll take your word on it.
The reason I asked is because I read an article stating that if eddie leaves, he would be going to Turkey for a raise, and his new salary would be about 7.5M, which is over 140k per week.
Article could be rubbish.
Never heard of this capalogy lark

Just seen this wow

I'm not reading through 90 pages of posts but has anyone mentioned that he is isn't great with his feet yet? and that Trafford might be a bit pissed off?

I think there is no more pressing position on the pitch really - what on earth is there to have any reservations apart from being elated we are in for one.of top GK in the world!
Sadly mate, it’s a British disease. It starts in school and ramps up the further through school you go, it used to pause a little at university, but likely doesn’t now, and it really kicks into gear when you go to work.

It’s part of the reason the country is now constantly failing at almost everything we try, and often why our national sports teams are not the envy of the world.

It infects the NHS, government, as previously mentioned schools (although much less private schools, hence all the tossers we keep having running the country), this forum, of course, and huge aspects of our lives.

It is, of course, the inability to work out and then focus on what people can actually do, as opposed to relentlessly focussing on the things they can’t do. Drives me fucking mad…

The Rags want him and don’t want him.

But if it stops him coming to City, they all want him.

Then he will be a United legend without kicking a ball as he chose United instead of City and snubbed City. :-)

He's 32 on Sunday, so I would expect a wage reduction wherever he goes. Tax rate is slightly lower in Turkey too.

I'd be surprised if its as low as £140k though given Saudi were sniffing around not too long ago.
