I'm hoping for his sake you mean scunthorpeUnited.

Dont there's more going around today that Vini is upset and might leave... HahaI dont take Ornstein at his word anymore unless indykaila has confirmed it
We would not sign Donnaruma on 300k a week to lose his place in the team, unless he actually is shit. Trafford will have no chance even if Donnaruma is just competent. It doesn't put an end to his chances.
It gives him to opportunity to fight for a position that is competitive in nature.
Footballers are conditioned to fight for their starting position. Its the nature of the beast.
Trafford will get his chances if Edy or Donna are there, unless he proper fucks up his audition. Same with Edy or Donna.
Are you party to the negotiations? Or just believing what you read?We would not sign Donnaruma on 300k a week to lose his place in the team, unless he actually is shit. Trafford will have no chance even if Donnaruma is just competent.
Nice to say but frankly that is not true is it, the bigger players are given assurances over playing time and chances, not that they’ll be guaranteed a spot even if they are shit or somebody is better.I can say with absolute certainty, that no negotiation with any player at City will ever be predicated on us telling them they are a guaranteed starter. Not a chance in hell.
We won't have said that to Trafford, and we won't be saying that to Donnarumma either. This is one of the most competitive clubs in world football where everybody is constantly fighting for their place. It's not your dad's village cricket team.
If you want to be the first name on the team sheet, then prove you deserve it.
Ok so you reckon Donnaruma for €50m and the highest wages possible for goalkeeper is being signed to fight for his place? Are you party to the negotiations? Or just believing what you read?
Euros I meant, that’s the fee reported50m??? Lol
Did Jack Grealish fight for his place?Ok so you reckon Donnaruma for €50m and the highest wages possible for goalkeeper is being signed to fight for his place?
Come off it hahaha
Ornstein, in the latest podcast that came out about an hour ago, mentioned that City's negotiations with Trafford were based on him being the team's first-choice goalkeeper
I think we can read between the lines though. Trafford would have probably been a starter if he had signed for Newcastle. I suspect City said to him Ederson is staying 1 more season and we view him as successor next season. And that he will get cup games and probably some CL. Signing a new number 1 on a longer contract surely confuses things.I can say with absolute certainty, that no negotiation with any player at City will ever be predicated on us telling them they are a guaranteed starter. Not a chance in hell.

If a six gives you the eye late on at the Valley lodge and as you are leaving with her an 8 gives you the come on, you bin the 6 and grab the 8. But keep the 6’s number for carabao and dead rubber CL gamesIt doesn't put an end to his chances.

Yep. People getting giddy about Donnaruma and can’t face that particular aspect. That was obviously the case. Bit of an inconvenient truth on here at the moment though.
It's remarkable how few people seem to acknowledge / understand this.Odds simply show where the money is going
City get linked to a player... People then bet that the transfer will happen because they've just read about... The odds shorten
Indicative of fuck all
Aguero never got such assurances, so James Trafford certainly wont have either!!That was obviously the case. Bit of an inconvenient truth on here at the moment though.

Are we now saying that we shouldn't sign Donnarumma because the lad we have got to be our main keeper in 26/27 isn't good enough to compete for the number 1 spot? That was obviously the case. Bit of an inconvenient truth on here at the moment though.
