Look, what a tiny little fix!
And who would be perfect to save his ACL ridden legs?
Rodders. Life can be so easy...

But no, BM taught us it would destroy our extremely complicated 'system' as City w/o Eddie was unthinkable. Pff.
No body said that though, some questioned if we buy him how he'd fit in with how we play, no one said Pep wouldn't have a plan if we did, just it would still involve building from the back.

People can’t handle the idea a player we are buying has weaknesses.

World class shot stopper, shit with his feet and coming out for crosses. Let’s see how Pep deals with that and if we’re a better team for it.

The entire Donnarumma to City transfer saga makes no sense to me. Pep's system is based on a keeper who is good with his feet giving us an extra player at the back.

Donnarumma isn't great with the ball at his feet and if we signed him we'd either need to change our system or we'd need to accept the consequences of Donnarumma's passing mistakes - which would likely more than offset his outstanding shot stopping ability.

Well if he is weak on crosses and corners thank God we only play Arsenal twice in the season

You wouldn’t need to change an entire system.

Sure, but is not you, or me, it needs to make sense to.

Saga? This only became a serious link two days ago.

There have been some proper sagas over the years! If this gets done it's an overnight surprise in comparison.

This is a real change from what we’ve seen before. His MO has been this “11th outfielder” style (Bravo, Ederson, Valdés, Neuer) all comfortable in the build-up and able to pass under pressure.
Whilst Donnarumma is a proven top class traditional shot-stopper, this feels like more than just a tactical tweak. If this signing happens it comes across as a genuine shift in Guardiola’s philosophy.

i may be a **** but im a poor **** ;)

There's never a better **** iMHO, a man that knows he is poor and embraces it. When a bag of Fish and chips comes through the door you feel like you're eating like a King.

Usually when one of your female relatives has won at bingo :)

Surely you can see the irony in your last paragraph, and espefially the final sentence?

Maybe Pep's system has changed. Teams have learnt how to deal with Pepball and maybe he is transitioning to a more traditional system.
