Loan out Nico G and have both? The only way he goes there is if we can't shift Savinho and therefore can't make room in the squad. Rodrygo has been twerking for us for two years.

Is that before or after he becomes our next Manager ? ;)I could see Vinnie coming after Doku at some point soon
Not just weird but fucking stupid.Weird logic.
There aren't many places they can get 90 million from besides us. There are only a handful of teams that can do that type of transfer and a chunk of them aren't in the market. We shouldnt fear them though and do the right business for us? They would just sell to someone else and get the money anyway and it does seem we would be his first choice.
It isn't weird at all. Madrid is our main competition for the Champions league. We have to careful about taking a player that is surplus to their requirements in return for money they can use to strengthen their squad. It is a complicated deal with multiple layers.More weird logic on this thread.
There was enough talk around the time we bought Cherki that he’d take the 10 when grealish left just had to wait, the club even put out a statement saying some of the new signings will change numbers in regards to purchasing new shirts. That’s never happened before.Since Cherki took the #10, thats mean Rodrygo isn't coming
Doesn't really matter. Somebody will buy him (or other players) and thus they will have the money regardless of who pays it.It isn't weird at all. I think Rodrygo's attitude has a lot to do with that.Brahim Diaz wouldn't start for us. Xabi Alonso thinks Brahim superior to Rodrigo. Not saying he's correct but..
Feel so too.I think Rodrygo's attitude has a lot to do with that.
Reminds me of the logic of Aguero changing his snapchat handle or similar that meant that Messi was inboundNo it doesn't. It means he replaces Sav

According to Florian Plettenberg, Pep Guardiola’s City have reignited their pursuit of Monaco winger Akliouche. The 23-year-old remains Leverkusen’s “dream target” this summer, but the Sky Blues' entry into the race adds fresh competition. Valued at €70 million (£60m/$77m), Akliouche is seen as a cheaper alternative to Real Madrid’s Rodrygo, who could cost around €100m (£85m/$109m).
If you would have told me a month ago, we could sell Savinho and McAtee to basically fund a Rodrygo transfer purchase I would have been a yes with no hesitation.
We realistically have 2-3 years max with the best manager any of us will see on the City sidelines for the rest of our natural born lives.
If Pep wants him, by all means go out an get him Hugo.
Rodrygo as we all saw unfortunately in May 2022 has that it factor in front of goal for the big moment, that this squad desperately missed last season.
I'm holding out hope we get to continue to watch the boys in sky blue (somehow) once we take the big sleep!"Natural born lives" is a new one for me

Let's do it. It's a yes from meApparently the money they get for Rodrygo is going to be put into getting Konate this window.
If somehow a RB pops up for us too along the way that's a dream transfer chain.Apparently the money they get for Rodrygo is going to be put into getting Konate this window.
