Mine never worked on the turnstiles always had to use the barcode, but it did work at the bars inside to get the 10% seasoncard discount, hopefully the new turnstiles will rectify that.

The payment devices were newer tech designed specifically with the varying mobile phone NFC capabilities whereas the old turnstiles were designed with the old plastic cards in mind which were just one piece of technology and probably why it didn’t work as good.

Is my opinion.

The trial week was possibly just to put those people at ease who doubt technology. Of course it will still not be 100%, someone will have a problem, that’s expected tbh, but if it’s a lot less than before it’s better.
 
The button is not greyed out anymore but when I confirm transaction comes up with an error message

how is the user experience for the recipient? is it the same as last year, an email with a download to apple/google wallet?
