31 | Ederson - 2025/26

Josh is a ****.

What a shit video - going back years and years to criticize Ederson.

I've backed Ederson big time in the past - but became far less enthusiastic about him when he expressed the desire to leave our club last season.

Moreover, as good as Ederson is overall, he has a penchant for making extremely poor passing decisions - about once or twice per game it seems - that lead to - at best awkward moments - or with alarming frequency - to extremely dangerous goal scoring opportunities with an attacker one-on-one with Ederson who may not be in best position to defend the goal.

I'm not cherry picking Ederson's worst moments with my comments above - rather I think I'm stating a fair opinion of his recent performances.

What kind of absolute wanker makes a compilation of mistakes from a player at their own club? That's a truly special breed of ****. And tbh, reposting it isn't all that much better either.
Unfortunately social media is full of these plastic City fans who are only here for the glory hunting

Bad memory is sad. I challenge anyone to go watch the last 10 games of the season and tell me Ederson is not the biggest reason why we are in the Champions League.

Please don't respond untill you gone and watch the highlights of the last 8-10 games. Sometimes we need our recollections refreshed. :(

An Everton supporting mate sent me this a couple of weeks ago - in fairness, it did surprise me
Dude, i went back and watched our last 7 or so games. The long highlights. He is the main reason why we are in Champs League. :(

Like you, it shocked me. Its not that i forgot many of the saves, its that i just didn't realize how critical they were or I memory holed their
importance at the time. Dude has been a ner super-positive for us.

Defence and midfield getting away with murder at the minute, all the shit being piled on Ederson. It's a joke.

I don't know what needs to happen but all this bollocks about it solely being down to Ederson is ridiculous. Midfield and defence non existent against Al-Hilal, plain and simple.

First mistake and he will be dropped I suspect but maybe he might rise to the fight and leave on a high at the end of the season i certainly hope so

Get him a statue if he goes. We simply couldn't have had this era of greatness without him completely changing how defences played with the ball.

I've not been impressed with him since the treble and think it's the right time for him to move on, but agree this would be appropriate.

I think we need to be pretty strict on additions to the statues now, but he deserves one for the part he's played in all our triumphs.

He hasn't made many obviously - all 1 minute 38 seconds. Fuck sake. Over eight years since he has joined. 1 champions league, 6 Premier League titles, 1 World Club, 1 Super Cup, 2 FA Cup, 4 League cup (I know he wasn't first choice in most of the FA and League cup), 3 Golden Gloves. Redefined goalkeeping across the world. Most GK assists in PL history.
Club Legend.
The lack of recognition from some is mind boggling.

Pep saying that Ederson is No1 in last season of his contract and after signing James is showing he learned nothing from last season by sticking to old players.
What is Ederson’s motivation? Professionalism? Give me a break. If he wants to stay he should sign a new contract. If not, give him a proper treatment in the best interest of the club. See Gigi and PSG.

Enough with this sentimental shit with old
players like they are bigger than City. What should we do now after few successful seasons. We have 5 average seasons just to give those players proper goodbye.

Club needs to cut this. Sell Ederson. Move on.
