I’d be ok with that, but our one glaring gap in the squad would remain unaddressed - which is a mistake, in my opinion.
Donnarumma for Eddie and Rodrygo for Savinho brings very little net gain - we’re essentially swapping like for like, and whether the new two are any better than the old is debatable.
But the gap at RB will still be a problem for us irrespective of these moves - and will be targeted by our opponents.
Donnarumma and Rodrygo aren’t going change that.
I’d be far happier if we kept Eddie and Savinho, and brought in a proper right back.
This is exactly my thinking. There's not a massive gain to bringing Rodrygo and Donna in for Sav and Eddie, it's sort of like for like. Both will be on bigger wages as well, especially Rodrygo.
As long as they are shiny new toys though @richards30 is happy.
