can see why saw a few madrid accounts and podcast clips saying Rodrygo on the left is completely different. He always wants to cut in on his right and its unstoppable.

He is better on the left, but this is a 4 minute comp from several seasons. Nobody says he hasn't had great moments, thats why his price is so high. But it was always waiting for him to make the next step and he never did. Hes still too timid and not very explosive there either.

Doku, Rodrygo better technical ability also very good at link up play, Benzema and Joselu both said that they loved playing with him as he always has his head up, Haaland will love him. Doku is quality but he still doesn't lift his head up after beating his man and he's unpredictable, couple of times yesterday when Doku beat his man Haaland didn't know whether to make the run or not.

do you guy remember in 2023 from around February- May aka the greatest 4 months of football this country has ever seen. During that time we destroyed every single team that tried to come against us. It was a 3241. Pep tried the same formation in 2024 but Grealish and Bernardo just weren’t as good anymore so it wasn’t quite the same. This was the starting line up vs Madrid in that 4-0.
