If they are paying him £800 a year they’d be over paying him. He was clearly a good footballer, but he was hopeless as a manager and he will never ever make it as a pundit and quite why the BBC thought he would is staggering. He sat there last night blustering away stating the fucking obvious as if he was providing some valuable insight into the game - I was embarrassed for him. His salary really isn’t the issue, although I’m sure like Simon Stone he will be rinsing the licence payer - it’s the fact that he’s been given yet another opportunity (like all his managerial positions) that he simply does not deserve.

I nearly choked on my cocoa watching MOTD last night . Alan Shearer , whose attributes as a pundit were in stark contrast to the bloke on his left , said that he felt his team showed pluck spirit and determination with all the uncertainty of The Isak Saga hanging over them ( I paraphrase) .

Funny how no one , to my knowledge , has made similar comments about City, given what we've been dealing with since Feb 2023 , and before that with UEFA .

Ah well , I can excuse it . It's not as if it's in the news much .

One is a single player who wants out and the other is a club facing existential annihilation. ( I had to ask the educated other pundit to explain that phrase to me ) .

The Daily Mail were first and said "it is believed to be 800k" the others picked up the story and based on what the fail said wrote "it has been reported to be 800..."
Usual under hand shit.

I have put you on ignore as I can't be bothered arguing the toss about this. Nit picking pricks like you are not worth the time of day. Two national and one regional newspaper quoted Rooney's payment of £800,000 from the BBC for his role as a pundit on MOTD. I don't give a fuck if that's true or not. Its not my fucking problem. Life's too short for this sort of bollocks.

I thought I'd take a look at Sunday supplement. Same old shit regurgitated. Delaney and Liew and some woman I haven't got a clue who she is. Even worse it's not easy on the eye sat around a table with dim.lights. instead it just in the studio with the distraction of breaking news etcetera all around it.

I haven't heard or seen anything of Wayne Rooney since the MOTD repeat finished - think I'll go and listen to his podcast for some incredible insights.
