Unfortunately, getting on the Honour's List doesn't guarantee that person is an upright and sound citizen, deserving of such a honour.
Rolf Harris received 3 such awards (CBE, MBE, OBE), with Jimmy Saville getting both Royal & Prime Ministerial endorsements.
Levy seemed an absolute lizard, but did a good job for Spurs with the new ground...
And still no wants to put a blade on Sinfields shoulders fuck um I say.

And still no wants to put a blade on Sinfields shoulders fuck um I say.

As has been said, the protocol is for a minimum 3 year gap between levels - it seems inconceivable that Sinfield won't be on next New Year's list.

Separately, Levy got his for services to charity and the community in Tottenham, not specifically for football-related matters.

all the newspaper back pages this morning lead with the Pep/Maresca story with sidebars about Rosenior and McFarlane etc... cept one - the Daily Fail's back-page splash is about, guess who..., yup Amorim. Tossers.

An article mainly about Chelsea, liverpool and united’s youth systems
So whose picture did they choose to use? You guessed it…

How come they haven't got a picture of the infamous "Trafford Tramps Academy" ?
They are always lauded as having the best youth teams in football history, starting with the Busby Babes.
Perhaps it's difficult to photograph the amount of kitchen appliances that Bryan Griggs' Mam received, when the Tramps nicked him from City ?

Some kind soul has archived it for anyone interested.

They really struggled to include us in it.

"One player turned down United to join Manchester City because they were offering St Bede’s schooling and the family couldn’t afford private education."

Ignores the fact that you have to offer private education to every single player until they leave school even if they move clubs meanwhile so it's probably a loss leader for us.

"Manchester City often counter-balance their big spending by selling youngsters, many of whom they have signed in their mid-teens like Brahim Diaz (Real Madrid), Pedro Porro (Tottenham), Romeo Lavia (Chelsea).
Oscar Bobb, signed in 2019 from Norwegian outfit Valerenga, could be next in line to go with Borussia Dortmund circling for his signature. Like many to leave City, he is perhaps in the category of: a very talented player but not quite City level – though a good money-spinner."

Ignores the fact that previously you couldn't sign them until they were 16 (Porror was older) so they were always going to be mid teens and totally by the book. Diaz was the only exception as I think he couldn't be registered until he turned 16 after we signed him.

The Academy serves two purposes. One is to find the gems such as Foden and NOR and the second is establish an ongoing revenue stream.
Obviously not recognised by our media who just see it as ruining young players careers when in fact the opposite is true.

Yes, City are once again, ruining English football by signing those adult Johnny Foreigners instead of promoting the good old English academy players.
Of course, the Trafford Tramps first team, only select their ownacademy players - or foreign players who always supported them...

Porro was never in our academy at any stage yet often repeatedly reported by the likes of the Mail. Just crap journalism
