He kept saying "as you can see here", if we can see it what purpose does he serve?
Didn’t watch much of MOTD other than City but from the bit I did see every time Rooney started speaking Shearer butted in. Maybe Alan’s a little concerned about his status.
Back in the day Lineker, Hansen and Lawrenson apparently raked in 5 million a year between them before the Beeb got so much flak they were forced to pull the plug on it.

Had to reply to a obviously bitter dipper pratling on about October for some reason on HYS needless to say it got pulled
I dont think it fell into the category they pulled it for what you all think ?

I see the BBC have changed Slimebag Stones job title from Chief Football Writer to Manchester United Reporter.
I suppose they had no choice in the end.

The amount of City fans (an others) who must have contacted them to complain about the rag sycophant and his obsession with all things red.

They could no longer justify calling him their Chief Football Writer.

So in the spirit of balance and impartiality (as the BBC professor to be) when will they be announcing their MCFC Reporter and their LFC reporter and their AFC Reporter.

After all these three clubs are far more relevant in recent history of the Premier League and to have a dedicated reporter for a team that finished 15th last season screams of favoritism.

We're no longer in the 1990s when the rags were relevant. You would think that an organisation like the BBC in 2025 would focus more on current affairs. After all, we've got the History Channel for things that were of interest in the past.

I don't know...... the BBC bless them. They really do tie themselves in knots claiming to be all things to all people while flogging that dead horse for one more flurry.

And the Man City Reporter is a Rag who’s spent years slagging us off on social media. The BBC eh!

City look dominant albeit against piss poor opposition.

UK sports media ignore it like they've ignored the Scouse racist.

"115! 115! 115!"
Once we've have been exonerated from this witch hunt there will be certain members of the British media that will be physically unable to talk about MCFC.

I'm thinking of people like Miguel Delaney and Johnathan Liew who cannot talk about MCFC without referencing the 115 charges.

I can just see it now, after the verdict when they appear on Sly Sports Sunday Supplement and The Back Pages:

Presenter: "so a hard fought three points for City today, Miguel what does this say about their chances of winning the league?"

Delaney: "No comment!"

Presenter: "Okay?.... Johnathan, we hear from a source close to us that Pep would like to extend his contract, what are your thoughts on that?"

Liew: "I would like to exercise my right to not voice my opinion at this time."

Presenter: "Stay with us because after the break we're going to hear from Miguel and Johnathan about their views on FFP and how it has failed the likes of Manchesniteh, Liverpool and Arsenal.

Are they now using our money to pay 1-1 reporters for every Prem Club at least I Fukin doubt it

Why would any self respecting City fan go on the Daily Mail website to see what they're saying about our club?

We know what their content is like. It hasn't changed for years. So simply don't give them the clicks.

If you go looking for things to get annoyed about, where you know you are going to find it, then don't be surprised when you're suitably annoyed at the negativity around City.

Why would any self respecting City fan go on any football media or social media website, because they do.

I’m talking about paying to read that shite.

That bit of my post obviously escaped your attention and retort.

Do you go on the match day thread by any chance?

Why would any City fan and Blue Mooner go on there to read the shite that is posted by fellow City fans, which is no better than what the Red shirt journalists write about City.

And no, I don’t go or post on the match day thread. It’s a cesspit at times.

The Daily Mail were first and said "it is believed to be 800k" the others picked up the story and based on what the fail said wrote "it has been reported to be 800..."
Usual under hand shit.
It doesn’t make sense for even the BBC to pay anyone £800k for a podcast. That said it would be interesting to know the real figure. It is our money after all.

Hansen and Lawrenson were superb players and great pundits. It’s a rare combination.
