And it’s edersons problem if he’s telling people he’s off. It will be down to city to tell accept what they think is the correct price.

It's quite strange that we are holding up his move for a few quid. In the past, we have let players go for a lower fee as a sort of reward for what they have done for the club - dzeko being a good example.
Ederson surely has enough credit in the bank at city that we won't stop him getting the move he wants for a couple of million

I was watching all of these games mate, and also his decline. To be fair I went too far with my original comment, I'm not saying Hart wasn't a brilliant and talented goalkeeper. My point is more that good as Hart was, Ederson is a cut above even that. He redefined the position at the top level. He's played for City for longer and achieved more but in this thread I've seen people genuinely trying to argue that he's only the 5th best City keeper of all time and that provoked my reaction.

Savinho make sense but Pep playing Rico on Saturday when could very easily have played someone else is a pretty solid statement that he wants him to stay.

Personally I'd be OK with Rico going if we had another RB lined up.

I think we have to accept as a fan base that he divides opinion, many will agree with you but a lot will disagree. No one will deny he’s a legend here. Everyone acknowledges that his ability with his feet is literally once in a lifetime level for a goalkeeper. Everything else we are divided on and think just have to accept that whilst keeping respect on his name.

That's not the clubs fault though. We've set a price, a price which in all fairness is not a ridiculous one. It's up to Eddie and his agent to get Galatasaray to get the price or as close to it. Hes only 32, they could get 4/5 years out of him. 20m for a keeper who has won the lot seems pretty reasonable to me, even with 1 year left.

Your numbers are off. Galatasaray is currently offering 10mil while City wants 12-15mil.
