Rodrygo

Still not convinced he would be any more of an asset that Savinho is.

his average of 4 games.sper goal in a league less physically challenging with his stand out season 3 years ago I am not sire we are getting any better than we have.

If it's a LW we would be better taking a less expensive punt on the lad Adeyemi at dortmund imho.

Rodrygo 6 goals and 5 assists last season. I don’t see why we need him to replace Sav. Bobb, marmoush, foden, Cherki and doku all able to fill his spot perfectly adequately.

Is it just me who thinks Rodrygo is a massive upgrade?

When I’ve watched him he’s miles better than Vinicius
Rodrygo is better and I don't rate him. Vinicius is like Doku with better finishing. Rodrygo is like Savinho with better finishing.

Shouldn't be going near either of them.

Can Rodrygo play on the left, isn’t he a right winger?
On the right we already have Foden, Bobb and Cherki
He is primarily a left-winger, because that is where he can cut in and be more of a goal threat. He becomes more like a support player on the right, and it seems like he backs himself to become the main man on the left somewhere else

Better finishing than Sav but less assists

When it comes to wingers I care more about G&A combined rather than one or the other

The more right wingers the club employs shows we are going in the right direction :)

If Rodrygo isnt getting any game time at all then maybe there is a deal to be done for £70m ish so Savinho out and Rodrygo in for net zero spend? Then we have a huge PSR and FFP profit going forward as well?

Certainly not better than Vini, as much as I hate the ****. Not a massive upgrade on our lads by any means. You reckon a lad thats been benched in 7 straight matches for the likes of Brahim Diaz and 20 year old (Arda) is a "massive" upgrade?

Never better than Foden, Marmoush, and based off a small sample size Cherki. Then we have Doku and Bobb who could easily surpass him this season in terms of quality. I would say you could argue he improves our best XI for the short term, but I can't see him being a locked on starter. If we can swap him for Savio sure. But even he has a higher ceiling at the current moment.

Madrid politics as much as anything mate. When you fall out with them or they want you out, you are forced out with a mixture of media bile and not being picked.
