PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

We've had the Israeli Gaza war. A new govn elected. AI has been invented. A new monarch installed. A new president of the US. Utd have had 3? managers. A differernt team than City has won the PL. Since this tribunal started.

Crazy amount of time and I think its about time they handed in their homework and showed us where they are up to.

2 Popes
Mind you I remember Rags going through 3 Popes without a win

Probably when the Vatican fucked them off

Not sure social media / podcasts are his employment or that he’ll be on the streets if Talksport stop having him on…
Of course not, but what i am saying, almost every time i watch, i feel he is dropping a carrot for the cartel to lap up, time being one of them.

I don't believe that to be honest. Can't see him gaining anything in that comment to be false.
Whoa there, Talk Sport announce him as a finance expert in the field of sport and a lawyer, so he is the expert in what is true and false, even when no one knows the facts, and he does start with a denial of knowing the facts every time.

They’ll be claiming the dog ate it next.

In a January 2025 Press Conference, Pep speculated we would learn the verdict of the "115" within the month. D-Day seemed to come about in February ( lots of "signals" ) but nothing happened. Journalist Oliver Holt penned a piece claiming he had spoken to a very senior executive of a top club who seemed to think the verdict was imminent and City would come out winners.

Holt did qualify City's anticipated win by wheeling out some of the usual anti-City tropes :
.....There can be no winners - just the lawyers
......The Premiership was entirely justified in bringing the charges
......There remains damning evidence AGAINST City
.....City have behaved abominably in their lack of respect towards the Premiership and fellow members
.....City's success can only be attributed to their employing expensive lawyers
.....State owned Club
and so on, and on and on.

Many months have passed and we still await a verdict on the 115 ; and so too ..with the APT . This perplexes me and I can only guess that the judgement against the Premiership in respect of Gill's FFP/PSR rules in the APT case is also impacting on the 115 case ? Is the Premiership involved in pre-verdict damage limitation.

Since Holt's piece we have seen a number of "City have got away with it" press articles including some from City's most virulent and hysterical detractors : Delooney , "Simple Sammy" Wallace and Oddball Herbert Sherbert to name but three. It must have hurt these 3 Cartel Lickspittles to their very core to pen such essentially pro-City articles ( which they would only publish at the behest of their minders in Rag / Dipper Central. )

Sherbert published an article in the Daily Mail on 3rd June 2025 : "The bombshell result of Manchester City's 115 charges case is now clear - and here's why " So Sherbert , that egregious bag of shit ( I'm not his biggest fan ) goes on to conclude : "City are going to win this one " ! He naturally goes on to argue that such an outcome would be an outrageous travesty of justice.

All this reminded me of a post ( on the APT Thread ) from an esteemed contributor - Chris in London ( originally post number 15802 ). He submitted a long and detailed summary of the premiership's evidence pertaining to the original APT tribunal. Quoting from Chris's post : "the PL's witness .... was a guy called Herbert ...top sniggering"
Could this be our old adversary Sherbert ? Is he the Premiership's notion of an expert witness... Oh dear !

So if this is the Herbert I'm thinking of, we must acknowledge that this man of integrity and impartiality is much nearer to the power-brokers in the Premiership ( i.e. the cartel ) than we could ever have imagined.

I am therefore mightily encouraged as to the outcome of the 115 when Sherbert advises us that " City are going to win this one "

All valid points but it's not been called the Premiership since 2016

If the panel find in our favour and certain media types continue with the "cheats", "got away with it" narrative, I would imagine they might be getting warnings from the club about future reporting.

I vaguely remember this. A different 'Herbert' if memory serves, unfortunately....

I'm not disputing that. My point is that I don't think he would have said that if he didn't believe it to be true. Of course no one knows the facts for sure.

Personally, “ if I knew City were getting a not guilty. I’d be happy for this to continue for a few years. Just to boil the cartels piss “ But October seems to be most experts dateline
Didn't the so called experts say March and then before the season starts. It's a guessing game.
