That’s because they didn’t put it in the email. Only on the website.This is exactly the predicament I have with my son's ticket. He often finds that he can't attend at short notice, sometimes a matter of hours before ko, so he's transferred his ticket to me and I have taken someone with me. I'm on hold with the ticket office as I type this to see what can be done - I know that there was a facility to nominate a non-member for transfer but wasn't aware that what we have previously been doing is no longer possible.
Can you not download your son’s season ticket onto your phone? Obviously City aren’t going to suggest that.
