How dare youI cannot believe that anyone would want a return to drinking at the Claremont, Parkside, similar or old Rusholme pubs. Even Mary D's is an upgrade.

The Osborne was always my favourite. Think the Claremont is the only one left now.I cannot believe that anyone would want a return to drinking at the Claremont, Parkside, similar or old Rusholme pubs. Even Mary D's is an upgrade.
Those pubs were my happy place. Drank in the Parkside pre match from 16 till I was 30. If I got a lift after that, would go in Claremont , too many Irish rags for my liking though then walk up to the Beehive loved watching old West Indian chaps play dominoes loudly would love the Holts and Hydes. If I went on the train would have a couple on Portland St then a bus to Rusholme and a couple in the Welcome. Quik dash up Claremont Rd for a last one in the Beehive. Post match stroll down to the Whitty and a few more Marston Pedigrees before a Ruby in the Shazan and a train back to the Fylcde Coast. Don't know how anyone can compare the East Manchester beer desert in which we are located to the great old days in Moss Side.I cannot believe that anyone would want a return to drinking at the Claremont, Parkside, similar or old Rusholme pubs. Even Mary D's is an upgrade.
Sadly George did pass away a year or two ago.
More blue than red but definitely not exclusive with a mural featuring Fernandes outside! Not sure the Waldorf is exclusively blue. Don't the rags use it when they're at home?
